Hey, have you struggled in the faith or lost the zeal that you once had for Christ?
God gives us the answer in 2 timothy 2 verse 1
You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus
This verse doesn’t mean to toughen up. It means that we ought to draw strength from the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
Think about it this way. Air is free and available, but you must breathe to draw air into your lungs. If you stop breathing, your body grows weak. In the same way, God’s grace is freely and abundantly supplied, but we must continually depend on Christ just like your body depends on oxygen. One of the primary ways this can be done is through prayer. AS 1 Thessalonians 5:17 tell us “pray without ceasing. “This doesn’t mean every second of the day, but it means to pray continuously and consistently turn to God for strength.
May the Lord God strengthen you in Jesus name, Amen.
