I want to thank you

for taking  the time

to meet with me

this afternoon

for this steering committee meeting

today.

The Bible says

We are…

Titus 2:13–14 “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.”

and

with that said…

We have a little less

Then four months

To finish planning

For the bridge of hope

And

One of the most

Pressing needs right now

I. Recruitment

Is

for

the recruitment

Of workers

Now

As I see it

There are at least

Nine areas

That we need to focus on

And they are

Counseling

2- Registration

3- Activities

4- Security

5- Music

6- Hospitality (Food)

7- Logistics

8- Housekeeping

9- Messaging

Currently

We have people

From our church

Who have signed up

To provide help

In every area

That I just mentioned

But

That being said

We need your help too.

Can you please

Create

Some sort of sign up system

For your church family

And

Can you…

Make a plea

In every service

Asking your people

To sign up

For some of these areas?

Currently

At Albemarle…

We have

A number of people

Signed up

For counseling

For registration

We

At ABC

Have a few people signed up

For activities

We

Have a couple people

Signed up

For security

And logistics

And messaging

But

That being said

We need your help as well.

Can you ask your people

To help us?

But

we also need help

In recruiting other churches

And getting their help too

And

To that end…

I

Sent out

A packet

To 200 churches

Last week

Containing 10 brochures.

But In the packet…

I asked them

The pastors…

To both

Bring their young people

As well as

To enlist

Helpers

For these areas.

But we really do

Need help

In enlisting helpers.

Incidentally

I have already applied

Through the Albemarle County

Police Department

To get 2 Police Officers

To provide security

Assisting our security team.

Premeeting

There is

A second area

We need

to talk about today

And that is

Our premeeting.

It was originally scheduled

For September 24

7 PM

But

We have rescheduled it

For Tuesday

September 22.

Can you please attend?

On praying

For the meeting

And hopefully

Having a choir rehearsal.

Endeavoring

To enlist workers

To help

For the bridge of hope.

For churches

Endeavoring

To enlist youth groups

To bring their young people

Can register online.

We will be hiring

To advertise through social media

Like

Tick-tock

And YouTube.

Our church

Has been making announcements

From the pulpit

Endeavoring

To enlist our young people.

We've been asking our adults

To enlist teens

And to send them

To the website

For the bridge of hope

But

That being said

We Still need help.

But what we need

More than anything else

Is prayer

Can

You enlist

Your people

To devote one service

Between now and then
