When it comes to the Second Coming of Christ there are THREE critical mistakes that people make:

Some say the know WHJEN He is coming Matt 24:36

Some say that He is NOT coming back at all 2 Peter 3:4,8

Some say that the Second Coming is SYMBOLIC

In order to have the proper lifestyle for the last days there are FOUR things that I should do:

I should LEARN of His coming

1 Peter 4:7 “But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be SERIOUS and watchful in your prayers” Clear . . . Sound . . . Sober

There are THREE aspects of the Second Coming

There is RAPTURE Acts 8:39 Luke 17:34-36 I Thess 4:16-17

There us RESSURECTION I Thes 4:16 “and the dead in Christ will RISE first”

There is RETURN Rev 7:9-10

I should LOOK for His coming

1 Peter 4:7 “But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and WATCHFUL in your prayers” Be ALERT!

I should LOVE ‘til He comes

1 Peter 4:8 “and above all things have fervent LOVE for one another”

Why is it important to have a lifestyle of love?

A. Love CONTINUES 1 Cor 13:13

B. Love CONQUERS 1 Peter 4:8

C. Love COVERS

Fervent Love, Earnestly, Deeply, Completely

1 Peter 4:8 “for love will COVER a multitude of sins”

D. Love CONFIRMS John 13:35 1 John 3:14

4. I should LABOR ‘til He comes 1 Peter 4:10-11 Luke 19:13

Within the body of Christ, people are gifted by the Holy Spirit in TWO primary ways

a. There are those with SPEAKING gifts

b. There are those with SERVING gifts

1 Peter 4:11 “that in all things God may be GLORIFIED through Jesus Christ”

It is very important that I have the PROPER lifestyle for the last days.
