Jesus Sends out the Twelve. July 5, 2026

What did Jesus do before he sent us Or the Twelve? Particularly

From Matt 1-6:33 Jesus is very specific about the path of salvation. He teaches you that you must stray, pray, seed, read, grow, harvest and hoe, and all doors are open to us.

Matthew 7:13 ““Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.”

Its a hard pill to swallow. We do not like to think that many of us will not make it, but the hope we possess is what Christs says.

That in Matthew 7:2 “For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” So make it easier on yourself and don’t Judge, It makes it harder for your brother and yourself.

Or heres another example.

To Ask, Seek and Knock, That all doors open to you. In Matt 7:11, it says

That who ever knocks, the Door shall be opened.

When i was studying in Bible College, I asked myself, why did put I these impossible blocks before me? The lord reminded me that he has moved mountains for me before. So he made me knock, So I knocked and i had received the gift that he set before me.

Jesus made it simple. Matthew 7:12 “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.”

For an evil person being evil knowing knowing how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts. to those who ask.

I kind of went back words on this scripture but hear me out.

If doing unto others, what you would have done to you will ensure that you enter the narrow gates.

Then you can find the narrow path.

If you have missed the boat on everything else, but there is one thing that you want to hold unto, this is it.

Lay your treasures up in heaven where Thieves and and Moths cannot take them

Do not be afraid to give unto others, for the Father above has taken everything in account and he will provide for your every need,

This is the fruit of the vine,

As i mentioned last week, From Matt 1-6:33

Jesus is preparing a garden within you. Garden of Good soil, planting a Seed and growing a tree that bears good fruit,

It starts off with a Gods Call, and Your response to enter the wilderness, Where in the desolation, Where God can move you, Provide for you, to prepare to go where He wants you to go. In that hard place, God is preparing you with the Gospel. So you can do what He want you to you.

In regards to False Prophets??

Now we are delving into some a serious situation with serious consequences

If you read Matthew 7:17–19 “Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.”

This a re-illustration, of both John the Baptiste and Jesus. They told the Teachers of the Law. High regarded church members. That the axe is ready to cut any tree that bears bad fruit. He also reminds That position won’t save you . In fact if you are relying on status to determine your salvation, He will say to you,

“Get away from me you doers of evil, I never knew you.

Matt 7:21-23

Matthew 7:24 ““Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.”

Matthew 7:28–29 “When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, because he taught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law.”

This wraps up this section,

Jesus has the Authority in the Kingdom. If you only but believe his teachings, follow them and put them into practice. The salvation is clear.

Although the gate is narrow, and few shall find it. God has brought you here. If you are here. then you will know the path you were on before did not lead you anywhere but destruction.

But this path that Jesus has tread for you, has led you down, is the narrow way, that Jesus wants you act a certain way towards others,

That acting towards others as a steward of Gods salvation, grace, hope, faith, and love. will create a path for those around you.

You are called to be different. because as a Christian there should be no other way to act!
