Ephesians 4:29-32

In order to build authentic community, you have to build people up rather than tearing them down. What comes out of your mouth is part of your new wardrobe, and it doesn’t include foul language (4:29), bitterness, anger and wrath, shouting and slander (4:31). We must say what is needed. And while we must deal with real life issues, our goal must always be to help and not hurt. Our words must minister grace to those who hear (4:29).

Isaiah 63:9–10 ESV
