The discipline is about: This discipline is about sharing God's truth with others and walking alongside them as they follow Jesus. It’s not just about speaking on a stage; it's about helping people understand who Jesus is and how to take their next step with Him in everyday life.

Our big idea: Sharing your faith isn’t about having all the answers. It is sharing the hope you have found in Jesus.

Why does it matter?

How does this discipline serve people? You are breaking complicated things into bite-size

How does this discipline help people encounter Jesus? A church without the Word is just a hangout.

What would be missing if this ministry did not happen? Everyone has an opinion based on their culture, background, and external influence.

How does this discipline support the mission of the church? The Great Commission is fulfilled through disciplines and disciples.

Why is this discipline more than just a task, talent, or hobby? Your testimony isn’t perfect, but your testimony is about perfect God.

What this looks like practically?

Before: Praying, reading, listening

During: Write down and be sensitive to the Holy Spirit

After: Follow up with texts, coffee, or visits.

Common Misunderstandings

Preaching/teaching is done only on stage

You need to know everything about anything at all time

You have to be a perfect Christian

Simple activity together: 2 minute Testimony

Instructions: Help people understand God’s heart. Take two minutes to share the testimony. Do it in pairs. Then, the other person will respond with their notes.

Scripture - One Bible scripture

A clear point - short and memorable

Personal story - supportive story

Call to Action - Allow them to think of acting on the word
