Boasting is excluded because faith brings nothing to the table (v. 27)
27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
What is “boasting” here? “Look at me! Look at what I have done!”
what does “law” mean here? Principle: boasting is excluded by the principle of justification by faith apart from any works.
Faith achieves nothing but with an empty hand receives and trusts in what God gives.
All men are thus justified, with no works involved (v. 28)
28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
App: We are declared perfectly sinless and perfect by our faith in Jesus Christ.
What grounds to we have to boast on?
self forgetfulness, ignoring one's one achievements in any capacity. Have no thought for yourself, interms of your own evaluation. Let God judge it; you focus on someone else
Have you ever considered that the reason you have difficulty making lasting friendships is because you are too focused on yourself? Every conversation becomes about you. You need to let the truth of the Gospel work its way into your life. You bring nothing to God's table; why do you true to bring something to everyone else's? Why not focus on them?

God is the God of Jews and Gentiles (v. 29)
29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
if justification by works were true, it would only be for the Jews.
This means that the One God has One Way of Salvation for All humanity (v. 30)
30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:
9 And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: In that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.

What grounds to we have to boast on?
Do we keep this to ourselves?
We are not given the divine playbook. We have never met a human Christ cannot save, and it is not our individual job to keep others out of the kingdom. The Church can and must exercise discipline, but even that is for the purpose of repentance. Our primary calling is to cast the net for men and let the Holy Spirit drag them in.
Men, the Gospel is not just yours. It is also your families. So when did you pray for them last? When did we read the Bible together? Are you showing it to be exclusivistic by your actions?

How does this “establish” the law? it means to put into force

Being saved by faith does not give us license to be lazy. In fact, it is only after being saved by faith that we can offer true obedience to God. Now, our deeds have all of the sinned pardoned and we can offer up things to God that please him (Augustine quote).
God is love" is used as an excuse for all manner of sin. When we obey, we go to the guidelines of obedience (puritan quote on the law).
go read the Law of God and look at how you are to obey him.
