IMPACT OF PRAISE ON RESTORATION (PART 2)
Psalm 67:5-6
Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. 6 Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.
Praise is a spiritual facilitator that invites God's presence, which carries the power for restoration, preservation, and supernatural multiplication. God cannot be present in your praise, and there is no proof of His presence. If there is no tangible evidence left behind, it means your praise has not been acceptable.
If what you are praising Him for has not changed or shifted from the old position, it means He has not been present in your praise.
Every acceptable praise brings down His presence Psm.22:3. 2Chron. 20: 21-23. Evidence of His presence is proof that your praise is accepted by Him.
EXAMPLES OF REJECTED PRAISE &
WORSHIP
1. Insincere praise: Matt.15:8-9. These people draw nigh unto me with their mouth and honour me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.
Praising God with words while the heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, praising with melodious songs, while your heart is far from Him. Crying in worship while terrible and unprintable things are in your hands. Walking in unrighteousness for the gain you derive from it will disqualify you from a praise that makes an impact. Praise becomes impactful when your heart and hands are clean.
2. The sacrifice of the wicked: Prov. 15:8
The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination unto the Lord, but He loves him that follow after righteousness. A wicked person lives in open rebellion against God and men, demonstrating pride, lack of empathy, and a persistent pattern of oppressing others.
Examples are: King Ahab and Queen Jezebel, Cain, Hamman, King Herod the Great, and Judas Iscariot.
3. Praise for self-glory: Matt. 6:2 when your acts of worship or praise are done to be seen. Praise or respected by God does not dwell in such praise.
Therefore, He cannot manifest Himself and His power in such exercise.
