ARE YOU ENCOURAGED, OR DISCOURAGED BY WHAT YOU SEE WITHIN YOU AND AROUND YOU?

STEP 7 REVISE
We humbly ask God's Spirit to revise our hearts and minds in order to follow Christ fully.
ROMANS 12:2
ROMANS 12:2
Romans 12:2 “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
ILLUSTRATION TIME:
Imagine you're trying to assemble a piece of furniture from a store.
The instructions are in a language you barely understand.
You're frustrated, until you find the right tools and patiently follow the steps.
Our spiritual journey is much like that!
Just as we ask for help in assembling our furniture, we should humbly ask God's Spirit to help align our hearts and minds with Christ's teachings.
It's all about finding the right guidance, and sometimes that requires a little patience and openness!
Picture a smartphone that’s been full for far too long.
Despite its potential, it struggles to function well.
When we delete unused apps and clear the cache, it operates like new!
In the same way, asking the Holy Spirit to revise our hearts and minds is like uninstalling the distractions keeping us from living fully for Christ.
Let’s clear out that clutter, embrace what’s essential, and allow God to refresh our spirits!
What does the word revise mean to you?
What does the word revise mean to you?
It means to make alterations to printed matter or subject being made for an examination.
Simply put, it means to look over again in order to correct or to improve.
As we apply the scripture from today, how does that speak to your heart about ...
How do we show love?
NOT CONFORMING TO THIS WORLD, BUT TRANSFORMING OUR MINDS.
Are we doing it with a biblical worldview?
Or are we doing love just by what we see on TV or read in a magazine?
We must look at everything with a biblical worldview specifically!
If we do not have that mindset, then we are not really able to revise our hearts, thoughts, actions, and feelings
If you want to revise your hearts and minds to think of what God wants us to do, then, we’ll put these into practice daily.
If what you’re doing right now does not please God, then DO you need to revise?
If you are traveling to a destination and realize that you’re going the wrong way.
Would you need to revise your calculations immediately?
Or would you just plod on hoping that, maybe you’ll get there?
No family, we need to revise immediately.
When we know we’re not doing what God wants us to do, then the Holy Spirit will gently tap us (hopefully) on the shoulder and tell us we need to rethink what we’re doing right now!
Even in life, if we relapse, we have the ability to revise what we did wrong and make a course correction immediately .
APPLICATION:
As workplace stress mounts, it can be easy to become cynical or detached from your colleagues.
Take a moment at the beginning or end of each day to pray silently for your coworkers, even those you clash with.
Ask God to soften your heart and open your mind to see how His Spirit can help you embody Christ's character at work.
Consider scheduling 'coffee chats' with coworkers you haven’t connected with deeply, fostering relationships grounded in mutual respect and understanding as a reflection of Christ’s love.

MY 3 DECLARATIONS OVER YOU:
1). The Stronghold You Cannot See Still Controls You
One of the enemy’s greatest strategies is not always attack.
Sometimes it is concealment.
What remains hidden often remains unchallenged.
Many believers pray against symptoms while never addressing the root issue behind the struggle.
We pray against fear, but never confront the lies feeding the fear.
We pray against discouragement, but never address the stronghold that has taken root in our thinking.
This is why some battles seem to continue despite our prayers.
Jesus said:
“You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
John 8:32
Freedom often begins with revelation.
When God reveals the source of a struggle, He is also revealing the pathway to freedom.
Take a moment today and ask the Holy Spirit:
“Lord, is there an area of my life where I have accepted bondage as normal?”
His answer may surprise you.
As I have ministered to many people over the years, I have
discovered that breakthrough often begins when we identify and confront the hidden strongholds that have been operating unnoticed.
2). YOU ARE GODS VOICE
You are not just speaking, you are birthing.
When God gives you a word, it doesn’t always come easy.
It comes with crushing.
With pressing.
With the weight of spiritual labor.
But painful as it is… you can’t let go.
You’ve been entrusted to watch over it.
To carry it.
To war for it.
Because what’s growing in you is not just a word;
It’s a move.
It’s breakthrough.
It’s deliverance for someone else.
It’s a REVIVAL for a nation!
So keep pressing.
Keep laboring.
Because when it comes forth, it will shake the earth.
3). Can I be real with you for a moment?
Years ago, I sat in a church service with a smile on my face and tears I had refused to cry all week sitting just behind my eyes.
I had survived ABANDONMENT.
I had survived things I did not have language for.
And yet every time I felt that fire in my bones that pull toward intercession, toward prophecy, toward fighting for other PEOPLE WHO STRUGGLED WITH LIFE.
I would immediately follow it with a long list of reasons why God had the wrong person.
Too broken.
Too much history.
Too complicated.
Not enough of the right things.
I want to speak to the PERSON who is doing the same thing right now.
Maybe you are a mother of three who feels called to be a warrior but keeps looking at your messy house and your messy past and thinking God must be confused.
Maybe you are a man who sat under church leadership that told you directly or indirectly… that your voice was too much, your gifting was too bold, your calling was not quite appropriate.
Maybe you survived something that left marks on your soul and you have spent years quietly believing that those marks made you less qualified.
Here is what God told me in a prayer meeting that changed everything for me. He said: "I did not allow what you suffered so that it would destroy you.
I allowed it so that I could use you." (2X)
Rahab was a prostitute and she is in the bloodline of Jesus.
The woman at the well had five husbands and her testimony brought an entire city to Christ.
Your wound is not your disqualification.
Once God has had His way with it, your wound becomes your greatest credential.
MAYBE YOU CAN SEE IT AS A BATTLE SCAR, FOR A WARRIOR IN TRAINING!!
The mantle is real.
The calling is yours.
And the God who placed it on you ..knew your full story before He chose you.
Jeremiah 1:5 ““I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.””
