God the father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit co-exists to make up what is understood as the trinity. These are spoken of in the form of three separate individuals. However, they are separate entities that by the power of God are one. God the Father transformed himself into the God the Son to create a link to humanity: “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth” (, ESV). God the Holy Spirit is responsible for cementing the union between mankind and Jesus Christ.
