Blessed are the Steadfast

The man who remains steadfast under trail

Those that remain steadfast will receive the crown of life

Which, God has promised to those who love him.

Understanding Temptation

the source of temptation

God is not the source of temptation, because he cannot be tempted with evil.

God is not source of temptation because he wants to draw people closer to himself, not away from who he is.

We are tempted when we are lured away by our own desires.

Our sinful desires leads us to sin, which death is the end.

This death is separation from God.

Application

Trials and Temptations are part of the Christian walk. God allows bad things to happen to good people to draw them to himself. God does not want us to be comfortable, but he wants to us to see our need for help and for us to depend on Him for our strength, wisdom, and steadfastness.
