wedding for Karen Moua
wedding for Karen Moua
Karen and Leefong - You both look beautiful and so handsome. You put so much effort to make this wedding shine. You consulted with many people without shame but confidence to get their opinion and to ask for how much it cost to make this wedding shine. You asked for the number of seating, the number of friends who will be here, the dresses, the colors that will go with your wedding theme. The food and the servers and all and all and on and on. You spend sleepless night think about this big day.
You actually want to make and build this memory in spike of so many obstacles. I want you to remember this day and keep it inside your heart. All the pictures you take today will review to your future generation, you children, and your family. Your future face, wrinkles and tears will tell so much about how much you treasure your wedding and your marriage.
I know you spend time so much time into this wedding preparation. One thing that I want you both to remember is to spend more time and more efforts to build your relationship. The beauty of companionship and friendship in a partner is not cheap. The beauty of companionship does not come by itself but works and plenty of works.
Many people who goes before us, they build their marriage is not on money, education, family, and selfishness. They utilize the things that are surrounded them to build their marriage.
Rich people who have strong marriage use money to consult and nurture the relationship. They do not use money to beat up and control this other partner.
The educated couple use education to respect and patiently lead one another to shine to the world. They do not use their education to defend and defend and looking down on their partners.
The couple who has a large family does not bragging about how powerful their in-laws or family because love has to build between two person, husband and wife only. The family is there to nurture and to support but not to demand and discourage you to lead your love one.
What is love? Now and the future?
Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children
Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
Efphesians 4:31-32
What is love now and the future? As time goes by, many couple neglect to nurture their love. In order to nurture and build truth love is not depending upon the world. Yes, many times we watch a love movie and teaches us how to respect and love. When we read a novel and the fantasy of the novel make us tears and we want to love. When we see other couples love one another and we want to learn from them. All these are good start but one thing that is a must is the foundation of our Christian faith is the example of CHRIST.
Paul says in “Be imitators of God” Why? Now and the future depend upon God. All of life depend upon God. We can control only little things but the most critical things are control by God such as today’s weather, the air we breath, tomorrow and the future.
Today, God wants us to imitate him. His love is too big and too wonderful for us to grasp. The word, therefore wants us to look to the verses preceding this verse. It tell us to imitate by by getting all bitterness, rage, anger, slander out of our lives. Be imitator is to be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave you.
God’s love demonstrate in action. He took action by sending his beloved Jesus Christ for the sin of the world. You want love, take action just like God. Be kind to each other - before you do anything such such making any decision on purchasing, giving, taking, be kind to your partner and inform each other to eliminate confusion and secrecy.
Jesus Christ wants us to trust in him. Your soul depend upon him. Your family life is depending upon Christ as the one and foundation. To have love in the home, make sure you have a solid foundation, Christ in your home. Allow Christ and always make room in your home for Jesus if you want truth love. Amen.
