Received and released (The Gifts)

And let us not just be here or the words. Father God, but be doers of the word or Jesus. We commit everything to you and your care in Jesus name. We pray man. Morning everybody. And therefore, because his spirit is different, it changes us. I don't know whether you've ever been changed by the Holy Spirit but you know, I am not the man. I used to be, some people say, almond. Al Pacino. What we we all changed at whenever we come alongside people, there is friction and when you rub alongside somebody that receipt, you have seized the moment when something happens. But you know, when the holy spirit's work the oil flows. There's nydia's much friction. So that's not just one of us will just die of us. Each of us should use whatever gift we read about the fivefold ministry. Anybody remember if I fold Ministry? Apostles. Teachers pastors, evangelist. Profits at 5 for Ministry and those are men and women of gods who are gifted to the church and they prophesy is God gives you a simple gift of Prophecy. How do you stiffen to the gift of the Prophet? I'm not going to get into it about prophets, prophesy, get to the spirit and then I'll give him for a moment. Anyone can be given one of those where you might be giving a gift of knowledge. I remember, we was sitting there when I said, I thought it would for this lady. And then you realize you knew, I didn't hear from long-time previous late, but just for that moment, just gave me a gift of knowledge and so will use whatever gift you have received two. So,

You know what I believe, as, as carries kind of hinted at, I believe there's a shift going on. I believe, God is making us ready to be ready for more of his spirit. Okay. Now if you are going to carry more, you need more capacity. If you ever try to see if you have any, everybody's thirsty in your house and the water jug, you going to be refilling? A lot of times. So what are you, do you going to get a big jug out on you for that? Maybe put some ice in it and everybody is refreshed but I believe God is building capacity in our lives. You and me and the church and us together as as we are not cold, just to be Spectators. But to be participating in, what God he's doing, I believe he's going to release us to equipped to carry and to carry his presence. Not only in here in the church on Sunday, but in the week, in small groups in our workplaces Heaven is not short of gifts. Please do not. I mean, I don't know whether anybody has ever been to hamleys, but if you are so small child, if you ever get taken to hamleys, it's a little glimpse of Heaven.

Things we can play with things, we can experience. So happy, he's not short of gifts. And Earth is not show to people who need to unwrap clothes gifts. Having tattoos us, and we can be that about Anchor Point. Just imagine why I mentioned this last week. I mention it. I think both times are spoken this month. Just imagine a gift sitting under a tree unwrapped. It's not fulfilled, its purpose. It's not going to be used. Just going to remind me to sing for today, is this, the gifted that's received is to be released in shed, you want the summary of The Seven. That's why I give is to be released in the shed and ideally, now, not text for months, and months, and months, and growing dusty, but being received and used by faith that we would Stewart them by the current. Do you know what? If we know the giver will never idolize the gift? So let's keep our eyes on the source is. Sometimes it's very easy to get around a number of years ago might have been with you that the account. Remember, somebody came forward to the front and said, I'd like the prophetic word please. Do you know what I sent? The father said to me, go away and work out. The prophetic words that you've already been given.

And I got it wasn't particularly I was it was a bit provocative but you know what? When God has spoken like a tight hold of what he said, let's do something with it. That's not chase. The gift lets don't chase the gift. Let's focus on The Giver. Our God.

I want to ask you a question this morning.

Do you see the gifts that you have a spot of your DNA of your Birthright or do they Point somewhere else? So they point to God it cuz some of us look like our parents, I was with my I always might with my uncle just a few weeks ago. I haven't seen him for a while. He said you look more like your dad than ever and I haven't seen him for years and no attempt to take the children. Don't want to look like. That parents would be like that parents, but we do inherit things, we doing everything tomorrow to call. I want to point beyond our parents to an ultimate source that he's the greatest DNA. That we can be popped up plugged into the window, accidents of birth, where men and women of purpose, and that purpose comes from a Heavenly source. Romans 12:6. Yes having then gifts differing. According to the grace that is given to us. Lets us use them if prophecy letters prophesy in proportion to a high, just an example. But let's use the gifts that God has given us and sometimes God has given me a word for someone like them to land a whole pack and hold back. I may be I don't even share it and then I'll find out later. Something I'll give you a specific example. That is a good example of a few times in the middle of the night, we all deserve you half as well with somebody on your mind. Amazon of what you do with that. I don't know what you just try and roll over and go back to sleep. Again, just think it's too much cheese or whatever, but I've learned that, if I wake up with someone, on my mind, the least I can do is pray for them. So if I wake up in the middle of the night trying not to disturb. I just quietly pray for them and then I'll roll over. Go back to sleep. Once I prayed the peace comes back and I can get back to sleep, fairly quickly to know. What if you pray for someone why not tell them? And a couple of times I've cried about something very specific in the middle of the night and then I'll message them other than ever the next 24 hours. And just said, I prayed for you last night. I can think of one lady that I I messaged and I said I pray for you last night. She said what time I was I was like 2, something like I said to something and she said, really need a white and I couldn't get back to sleep, but you know what? I suddenly felt a peace come upon me and I just rolled over and went back to sleep again. Just timing matches. I want you to know that. Sometimes you think it's a coincidence. I don't believe in coincidences. I believe in God, incidences, I believe God aligns things for us to do. He calls us to do things. So please do use the gifts that God has given you.

We need to use what we have. I have nothing to offer slave that which God has given me.

Every gift has a purpose. It's not about spite, this is not about who we are in one piece of 4 verses 10 and 11 and I want to emphasize this cuz those gift. So used to serve one another for the common good. One pizza for 10 and 11 oz. Each one has received a gift minister to one another as good. Stewards of the manifold grace of God has each one has received a gift if anyone speaks, let him speak as the Oracles of God. Just click on please. Thank you. If anyone ministers let him do it as with the ability which God supplies that in all things, God may be glorified through Christ, Jesus to him belong, the glory and Dominion forever and ever.

Go bonds to equities church. God wants to acquit you and me go once the gift baskets. So that we go boldly into our circumstances and situations. So long. Why? I don't know how big your face is scripture talks about faith, the size of a mustard seed, you can get hundreds of mustard seeds. In your hand, very small amounts of Faith, but God can give us so much more. Can you give us a gift of faith? And you never asked me carry those gifts. They are for us, not just on Sundays, not just in our homes. But with our friends, with our neighbors, with those, we work with

In the parable of the talents, the master, commence, those who are faithful, we what they have in says, well done. Good and faithful servant and says that in Matthew 25 verse to you on every get carries a responsibility that we might Stewart it and use it not. In 2, Timothy 160 says fan into Flame. The disciples were looking at him thinking, Where's the where's the local McDonald's White? What's the luckiest Five Guys? And where are we going to feed him? From him to sit down, but raises expectations? As soon as you say, sit down, what's going to happen? Then he gets to decide to go to look around the crowd and see what we've got. Now, I don't know if you wanted, if I walked around and said, what are we going to die? I'm not talking about fishing, right? Until we got the day, we might be able to. I know that some of us got kicked in her back pocket. We have news for a while, some of us have been given a fresh gift this morning, we don't know what to do with it but you know what? I want to encourage that. So identified the gift invest in the gift and then that sheriff. Proverbs 18. Verse 16 says, I gift opens the way and pushes The Giver into the presence of the great released gifts release things, sling price to the kingdom. And I want to encourage not only us but the next-generation, i clued in that, not just students. But the children in our Sunday school are we modeling with them. What it means to carry a gift. Are all children and our nieces and nephews are like I love some of the African principles. We have ensured she know some of the children in church so I didn't have to learn my name. They just walked in and said, hello Uncle, how are you? I might look for that so I don't need to remember that name, so I can get a hella nice. Heather nephew. How are you?

Somebody is a brother, is not a family. Do you have yourself at home? But we need some muscle to our children and they will learn more by what I see us doing know what they hear us saying. If somebody sees somebody, I'm going to hold on to this. I'm going to hold on to it. I'm so I ready want to provoke assis. I want to give us three things to think about. The first thing is to identify ask the Holy Spirit around you. Do you see in me?

What does Scripture say? Scripture says eagerly desire. The gift of God especially prophecy is always something of God. Would you use me? Could I be a carrier of something of you today? To be used to draw someone closer to you to see someone who gives you a gift of faith. I need to pray for a miracle.

God's given you enough fights to pry?

Having identified I guess I want to encourage you as it says, in 2, Timothy 162. Fannin to fly in the gift of God. That's been imported in you through the laying on of hands 7:18 tonight in cars that you can come out. And you can come and help seve, you know what, the more we have more people, we have doing what needs to be done. That? Really sees other people to do things. I had the privilege of taking a couple of young men to a conference in Vienna in Eastern Germany, and it was a interesting conference cuz it was a black German Church conference, but most of the churches were led by Africans and they were married to Germans and But that was a disconnect in Germany as a consequence. So, these churches and I had the privilege of speaking is conference. So I took Andy one of our young people to the conference, you went for a weekend and I've never been to a conference call that before. And I said, why don't you come and stand alongside my hands on anybody or anything and watch? Is young, man, strong face was willing to pry so Friday Night Ministry time cuz I'm praying for people and he was standing alongside me. Saturday morning, we had another session I looked around. He was in another group praying for somebody Saturday afternoon. We are praying for a whole bunch of people and he was at the back. She hands laid on somebody praying for somebody on the Sunday morning at the conference. A man comes to the front. He says I was walking past and I had this beautiful music. You said, so I came in and I sat down, he was a Russian, it was in East Germany, and he was out of work, and he was very ill and had a lot of pioneers back. Yes, I'm kind of liver complaint. I believe any white people said, who would like prayer And he went forward for prayer and ID program ID played in English. Translate into German. Translate from German into Russian, because I got held Tell me why I changed. It changed along side. Yeah, it's so easy to try and do things with ourselves but you know what, we need to train people that show people. He's not that hard. We just need to listen to God. Trust him and have some faith.

I want to lean into a time of ministry. This is a lingering service ever, going to step back, into worship going to step back into work. But I'm going to give, I'm going to charge people. I'm going to go up a bit like how to stick going to go. But light is over, just have a good time. I just want to linger in goats presents. Us to pray for one another. So I'm going to encourage you if you need to push the chest back and make some spice that's fine. If you want to come along and stand alongside someone apart, if you feel like you can stand alongside someone and you don't know what that's an encouragement. Somebody coming and standing alongside make is an encouragement. Even if you say nothing, you are still in encouragement because you'll stand it. I sense your presence coming and standing alongside you saying, I'm with you. I'm by so you can go with me. You were saying god with me. So if you just want a few things, feel that you'd like to pray, just ask the person, is it okay? If I pray for you, This is a big place. We got lots of space to pray. I don't want to encourage you. If you feel something be accountable, this is teachable time. If you let me play this on this phone number of years. I don't want people. I want to discourage people from saying the Lord says Cuz for me, that's not teachable. And when we read Corinthians, it talks about, we prophesy in part or sometimes, if I'm a little angry, if I'm a little upset, if something happens, then when God gives me something, my Nike shoe types, the gift. He's given me. My anger gets in the way. So please don't feel. You have to be perfect now cuz none of us a perfect. Jesus is perfect.
