Promise #1: God’s Love
Promise #1: God’s Love
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Promise:
God loves me so much that He sent His only Son to die for me.
God loves all of my friends so much that He sent His Son to die for them too.
All it takes to receive this salvation of God is to believe on Him with true genuine belief.

12 “What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying?
13 And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray.
14 Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.
Promise:
When we go astray, God will chase after us.
God wants us to be close to Him.
When we are feeling the weight of our sin upon us and unworthy to approach God through prayer, we must remember that God wants us to come to Him. He wants us to acknowledge that sin, repent of it, and draw near.

28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Promise:
Christ will be our teacher and show us the best way to live our lives.
There is absolutely nothing that He cannot handle or help with.
Christ is our rest.

26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

The Holy Spirit will remind us of what God has said and bring those Scriptures to life.

Promise #5: Eternal Life
28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
29 Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will.
30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
Promise:
It is God alone who determines where I spend eternity.
As a human, I am worth much more to God than other creatures, yet none of these creatures fall without Him knowing.
Mankind can harm my body, but they cannot touch my soul.

1 John 2:25
