I = wisdom
Biblical “wisdom,” which is a gift from God (2:6), includes morality and the knowledge of God.
godly wisdom calls out to us and tells us which way to go
Wisdom is calling out offering help and nobody is paying attention
25 since you neglected all my counsel and did not accept my correction,
26 I, in turn, will laugh at your calamity. I will mock when terror strikes you,
as a result of our ignoring wisdom
we will find calamity
actions have consequences
our foolishness will be mocked
has your friend ever done something real dumb…
instead of feeling bad for them you just laugh
In our foolishness and pride… we can get “gross” all over us real fast
Story of Lillie and I fixing the clogged sewer line in the basement
Start with remodeling the house and replacing all but one sewer line
which still haunts me
One day I was taking a shower and all of the sudden the toilet in the bathroom begins to bubble
next thing we know, the toilet wont flush and then water wont drain in the
I try a lot of different things because you kind of need a working bathroom
we used the kids bathroom for a while, that was horrible
plunger…. that made it worse
if you’re pushing water it does have to come out somewhere
finally decided that I have to open this line and just get out whatever is clogging it
I get all the things that I need to open the line then put the line back together again
I asked Lillie to help me… she is a big help, she is not afraid of much
Lillie is a CNA, has had to help older people clean up after accidents
she explained to me what poop hair is
I cut the line… I cannot reach the clog
I have to cut a hole in a wall, cut the pipe in a different place… now I an reach the clog
Lillie is standing there… holding a tote… catching stuff that comes out of the clog
When we do not listen to wisdom… it gets all over us and also all over the ones we love.
