Psalm 100
Psalm 100
Verse 1 — “Father in Heaven, PRAISE Your name for the setting of this Psalm. It breathes hope into my heart of a day when Jesus will be crowned, both the beast and false prophet are dead, and Satan is cast into the abyss. There will be no more war with darkness, and light is all that is seen. All lawlessness, rebellion, and corruption will never be something to be tolerated. World harmony will truly have come! Thank you for giving me a future to rejoice about!”
Verse 2 — “Father in Heaven, how blessed I am to behold the beauty of God through the profound words of truth, creation, and the witness of the Holy Spirit. Today, I serve you with gladness, knowing there is coming a day when I will be ushered into your presence, and I will see you in your fullness. I will go forward in my service to You with joy, knowing that the greatest joy is yet to be experienced when I am fully with You.”
Verse 3 — “Father in Heaven, it fills my heart with joy to know that You are the one and true living God! Not only that, but to come to the understanding that Jesus is God! Without this truth, all of my understanding would be in vain. To learn how You used Your great power to create me, place me, and purpose me leaves me to never question my value or whether or not I am loved by You. What a joy it is to know that every day I live, I am cared for by the great Shepherd, Jesus Christ.”
Verse 4 — “Father in Heaven, there is nothing more exciting to think upon than the crowning of Christ in the soon-coming millennial kingdom! Until the time of joyfully entering into His courts, lead me to prioritize gathering with Your children in the local church so I might enjoy wonderful encouraging fellowship and a time of searching my own heart.”
Verse 5 — “Father in Heaven, how comforting it is to know that Your goodness, mercy and truth will never be in short supply. I realize that whether I am young or old, I am surrounded by Your goodness, mercy, and truth. Whether it be the generations of today or those entering into the Millennial kingdom, these truths are there for them to learn and experience. Thank you, Lord, for teaching me in so many ways and through so many people about your goodness, mercy, and truth.”
