Intro

**If I can do one thing as your Pastor, I desire to help you love and enjoy your Bible more**
Moses is now on top of Mount Sinai in his 40 day stent...
He spent the first 6 days just being in God’s glory...
Now He is receiving instruction from God...
God’s first instruction was for Moses to build a tabernacle...
And last week we saw that it was God’s plan to use God’s people to build it...
God gave the Israelites everything they needed as they left Egypt that would now be called upon by God to be used for the building of the tabernacle...
We saw that God’s purpose was for this tabernacle to be a place where He could dwell:
Exodus 25:8 KJV 1900
8 And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.
And we saw that God wanted His pattern used for the building...
10 Major pieces of the tabernacle God instructs Moses to build:
They estimated if the tabernacle were built today, it would cost over $100 million…
Introductory thoughts to the creation of the tabernacle:

1. The Order God Gives

The Ark of Testimony (Exodus 25:10-16)
The Mercy Seat (Exodus 25:17-22)
The Table of Shewbread (Exodus 25:23-30)
The Golden Candlestick (Exodus 25:31-40)
The Curtains & Coverings (Exodus 26:1-14)
The Boards & Bars (Exodus 26:15-30)
The Veil (Exodus 26:31-35)
The Curtain Door (Exodus 26:36)
The Brazen Altar (Exodus 27:1-8)
The Courtyard (Exodus 27:9)
The Altar of Incense (Exodus 30:1)
The Brazen Laver (Exodus 30:17-21)

2. Our Temple Should be Made up with What God Gives (that’s how it stays holy)

3. God’s Instructions started with the Inside and Made it’s way Outside

4. The Closer you get to God, the more you Have to Yield

a.) Your way doesn’t get you closer to God (has to be His way)
b.) Your timing doesn’t get you closer to God (has to be His timing)
c.) Your method doesn’t get you closer to God (has to be His method)

5. What God designed for the inside was supposed to be the same on the outside (one tabernacle - not two different people)

6. All Parts of our Temple Should be Holy and approached that way

How would our lives be different, if we treated our temple’s as God instructed the Israelites to treat the tabernacle?
# 1 - We would take it everywhere God told us to go
# 2 - We would be very specific with what we put inside it and what we didn’t allow inside
# 3 - We would ensure it was done in a way that was instructed by God
With only the right materials
Placed in the right spot
# 4 - We would be focused on the inside as well as the outside
