Do Everything in the name of the Lord Jesus Colossians 3:12-17

Remember who you are in Christ

Verses 1-4 he tells them to “set your minds on the things that are above”

Verse 12 specifically says that you are chosen by God, beloved and holy through God.

Remember to show Christ through your actions

Have:

Compassionate hearts and kind

humility

Patience and bear with each other. The term “bear” is the same as “endure”

Forgive, saying that just as you have been forgiven, “so too must you forgive.”

All of these are defined by the command to “love one another”

Remember to reflect on Scripture

teaching scripture, instructing one another

Singing Scritpure

Remember to do everything as unto Christ.
