What is the main point of the chapters?

Chapter 1 is to highlight the importance and value of the Bible, specifically the Old Testament.

The author uses the writings of Psalms 19, in referring to the allusion of Gold and Honey to describe the intrinsic value of the OT (Gold) and Experienced value (Honey)

Chapter 2 Highlights 1 the make up of the old testament as well as the inspiration of the Old Testament.

It reveals the make up of the Old Testament as Jesus Explained to be the Law, Writings, Prophets.

As well the inspiration of the Old Testament, the Word of God Came which represents the verb ‘to be’

How we see inspiration in written prophecy and also history (explaining history to reveal Gods sovereignty)

What was the most important truth from the chapters you learned or were reminded of?

I was reminded in Chapter 1 the sheer value and worth of the Old Testament both in its essence as well as in what it can give you.

What is one area in your life from a practical perspective that the chapters pointed out?

Chapter 2 under the section, “THE BIBLE AS JESUS KNEW IT?” highlighted Jesus’s devotion specifically to the Old Testament and as we seek to imitate him, we must also be devoted to it

Even in certain books in the scriptures that are heavy in geneologies, instruction, or heavy histrorical books that might seem mundane to read and study through, they were the delight of our Lord.
