Welcome/Prayer (Shawn)

Good morning and on behalf of the family.... thank you for being here as we Celebrate the brief life of sweet ...BABY Phoenix Rose Ramler
Today...  sweet Phoenix is her fully healed self… breathing easy… in the presence of Jesus.
Well... my name is Shawn...  and my wife and I are the Lead Pastors at The Grace Place where Hannah & David attend.
o  On behalf of our Church family... we want you to know... as soon as we heard - those of us know knew… we have been praying for you both as well as the family.

Message (P. Shawn)

We are here today grieving with Hannh and David today.
I want to read you something from Scripture that has meant a lot to my wife and I -the pregnancy ended after 6 months… when we learned that our baby boy had no heart beat.
I don’t share this to say I knew exacly how you feel… but to share with you how God comforted us through it all. It’s pretty fair to say we’re we’re both unconsoluable for a perod of time.
A friend called me and read Ps. 56, verse 8 with me… it says…
Psalm 56:8 says, 'You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle.'"
I realized at that moment that the same way God has been with others in their sorrow.
He was right there with us in ours.
He doesn’t miss one tear… one moment of our grief.
I beleive scripture is true about the Kind of father he is… I beleive when we wheep… it pains him too.
Our pain matters to him… he will NOT leave our side through it all.
We know this… God doesn't cause loss like this. But He does something profound, He redeems hard things.
He doesn't waste our pain. Over time, He increases our ability to love deeper through something hard like suffering.
To the family… You are not alone.
I love the fact that even right now in this moemnt…
Gods presances is here.
He is tangably here through the body of Christ—your family, your church, the people surrounding you with love—and through His Holy Spirit, who dwells in you."
There are times life hurts so hard that we lose our words, and even the energy to express them to God.
There where many moments during the days following the loss of our son…
I don’t know that a lot of peopel understand this but maybe you will.
There we’re many days I could not worship… open my bible..
I didn’t even have the energy to pray.
I had questions, I was confused, I was in a fogg
All we could do was weep…
I face - one of the shortest and most profound scriptures records Jesus mourning the loss of a friend… it simply says JESUS WEPT.
-HE DIDNT PRAY-HE DIDNT WORSHIP - HE GRIEVED
I felt a sense from God that even thought I had nothing to give him… he was perfectly ok with me just offering my grief.
I just needed to grieve. So I did. And you know what I discovered? God didn't require anything from me. He just... was with me. He understood me as I was. I didn’t need to preform for him, pretened that everything was ok…
What carried me through wasn't what I did for God, it was what God did through His body. I
My church family prayed over me when I couldn't pray.
They held me up when I was too weak to stand. And I just sat in my lament, trusting that God was there, even in my silence.
I'm telling you this not to tell you how to grieve—that's sacred, between you and God. I'm telling you this because I want you to know: God is intimate with your pain. He doesn't need you to be strong right now. He's strong enough for both of you."
Isaiah 40:29 NIV
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

Prayer/Casket lowering (P. Shawn)

…Jesus, we know your word says. ..
John 11:25–26 ESV
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
We look forward to the great hope we have in Christ. To be reunited With Phoenix Rose.
To walk on the streets of Gold with her.
To get lost walking along beaches… of heaven.
To worship Jesus together
Discover your color of eyes, hear you speak
Hear you speak, and wrap our arms around you for a full embrase.
What a great hope we have in Jesus.
Amen -
*****PAUSE WILL THEY FINISH LOWERING.

Prayer of Closure / Dismissal

Lord I pray today that we would experience closure… That would lead to healing….
We thank you for the words of Psalms 23, verse 4. …
Psalm 23:4 ESV
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
In Jesus name - AMEN
This concludes our time together
