The Ten Commandments, the moral law, will not prove how good we are. Instead, it shows how sinful we are, and points us to Christ. But, it is also the standard by which we ought to live, in order to be more like Jesus. Obedience to the law is being transformed to be more like Jesus. The moral law is our friend, not to be feared, through faith in Christ, but to be cherished.
