Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Anxiety and Your response

Your worry? What the cause if it?

That world-Centered mindset

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

Practical application: life is more than just what school you go too or how well patted your resume is for a Job.

Don’t let this “real world” mentality get you away from believing in God.

A lack of faith in God

Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

If God has guided your life throughout your life this far. Don’t you think He will keep guiding you as you keep going.

O ye of little faith

God Knows what you need

for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

Worried about Your Education

And I gave my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all things that are done under heaven: this sore travail hath God given to the sons of man to be exercised therewith.

You will stress and worry about what you have learned in school and what you need to learn in school or in life only to find out what Solomon found out in the next verse.

I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit.

That word Vanity mean A breath, a brief moment in life and it can go so quickly.

Vexation: striving and stirring up. A stresser

So How should we view and deal with this Worry?

Being God-Centered

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Focus on God and what he wants for you in your life

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Believe on him and serve him

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Come to God

Learn from him and the people who also follow him.

Pray to him

Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Thank God

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Tonight is your night to thank God that one part of your life is done. That he( for those who are save) Gave you the strength to carry through all of that.
