AUTHORITY TO HEAL

In The Beginning

Law of first mention.

Genesis 1:4 NKJV

And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.

Genesis 1:31 NKJV

Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

The creation of human beings shifted it from good to VERY good.

No one caught a cold or flu, had aches or pains, sprained a knee or broke a leg, no allergies, no blindness, no cancer etc...

All of this (sickness, injury, poverty, oppression) began through the fall of man. Because of sin.

Yet Christians become convinced in their mind it is God’s will to be like this, or lack faith that he can bring restoration where it is needed.

Hebrews 13:8 NKJV

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Before the fall everyone had a perfectly functioning mind and body.

No anxiety, no depression, no hopelessness etc…

Is it God’s Will to Heal

My testimony. Kidney disease, women’s health, multiple autoimmune conditions, knee injuries, back injuries.

Sometimes healing comes down to deliverance. That is why you were prayed for and nothing happened. It needs to be cast out.

Isaiah 53:4–5 NKJV

Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

Jesus was wounded and bruised for sin, yet in that- he bore our sickness and disease (physical), and our grief/pain (emotional).

Matthew 9:2–6 NKJV

Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.” And at once some of the scribes said within themselves, “This Man blasphemes!” But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts? For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise and walk’? But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—then He said to the paralytic, “Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”

What difference is there between forgiveness and healing? Because in the forgiveness, healing was purchased.

The cross restored everything we lost through sin.

TYPE AND SHADOW:

Land of milk and honey.

Honey has healing properties.

There is healing in your promised land.

Resting In The Finished Work

Hebrews 3:7–11 NKJV

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, In the day of trial in the wilderness, Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me, And saw My works forty years. Therefore I was angry with that generation, And said, ‘They always go astray in their heart, And they have not known My ways.’ So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest.’ ”

Hebrews 4:1–3 NKJV

Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said: “So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest,’ ” although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

They failed to enter the promise because of unbelief.

If it’s God’s promise it is God’s problem to do what He said He would do.

The work was finished from the foundation of the world yet they didn’t enter the promise.

Spiritual prinicple God’s promise needs to be mixed with and received by faith.

God’s promise does not promise does not profit you without faith.

Hebrews 4:8–10 NKJV

For if Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day. There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.

Is your soul at rest?

We have ceased to work, we are receiving freely.

Those who understand their identity and authority are at rest in their soul. Not anxious.

God’s priomise is unaffected by your circummstance. The promise is there.

How to Walk in Healing

FAITH AND NOT FEAR

Many pray for healing out of fear of losing or lack of results.

You have no authority over what you fear.

Ev Flavia unbelief healing story.

Problem focused, fear focused, self focused.

When you understand and know Jesus you will pray healing from love and not fear.

COMPASSION

Matthew 14:14 NKJV

And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.

Compassion flows from the Father’s heart.

KNOWLEDGE OF HIS WILL, CONFIDENCE IN HIS PROMISE, COMPASSION FOR HIS PEOPLE.

Matthew 10:8 NKJV

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

You don’t need 20 confirmations, you have a command.

We don’t pray out of fear of the problem, but FAITH in the Solution.

Jesus didn’t have a problem, He had a solution for our problem. Solution focused.

You say they didn’t get healed but you saw them for 5 mins. Unbelief. Maybe God let them get healed after leaving to test your obedience.

Don’t believe then unbelieve because you don’t see instant results. That is not faith.

Faith not Circumstances

What is I had said oh I am too ill?

If I had unbelief because of my sickness I would have robbed her of her healing.

Why would I get sick? Warfare.

It hasn’t touched you unless it has touched your heart.

The devil only touched Job’s body because he wanted to infect his heart.

The temptation is for the pain to become an idol.

Stop trying to find all the answers WHY NOT and believe in His promise. The enemy stacks evidence. You present God’s evidence.

Your natural body may be screaming in pain but God’s word is screaming you are healed.

Ephesians 6:13 NKJV

Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

3 John 2 NKJV

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
