Joshua/Yahushua & Creation

God morning! Blessed be & thank you Father for this day, thank you for sharing your time with us, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In Jesus/Yahushua’s holy name...We thank you that we are filled with You in Love and Grace, as we learn more and grow in Your Word, and in You. Take from us anything that may hinder our growth, and anything that is not of You, we thank you for less of us more of You.
As we see one another as brothers, and sisters, as Your children, in One Body, and One Church...Your Church, as we walk under your protection from anything not of You, or Your will, as we are filled with your Word, and still in your peace, at your feet, we are Yours’, Blessed & grateful. Blessed be the Lord God Almighty, the Son & Holy Spirit. Your will be done forever!
(Thank you, for all things in Yahushua's Holy Name...we say Ephphatha, “be opened”, to hearing, seeing, and speaking the Word, guided by the Holy Spirit..so be it. )
So we saw in Chapter's 18-19 Christ coming to Jericho, a city defeated and cursed by YHWH through Joshua, and the events that take place resemble the Creation of the world, and the Promise for YHWH’s redemption in Christ. It takes place as YHWH tells Joshua, Jericho is delivered into Israel hands, the sons of YHWH are Israel. (as jacob, wrestle with YHWH, fear and trembling) For 6 days they march with the Law/Commandments in the Ark, Christ represents the Word/Ark. For 6 days they march once around the city. On the 7th Day they do 7 passes around the city then a long blow of the horn, and a great shout, and the walls fall. While this all takes place, Rahab a sinners family is saved for assisting YHWH’s sons, the Israelites and then becoming Israelite’s, following the Way of YHWH as well they are converted from gentile to Israelite, sons and daughters of YHWH. (not of the flesh)
In the creation of the world, it takes 6 days, in that world is light and darkness, but, the darkness never prevails, as Christ is the Light of the world, He comes into our lives to save us. Now, He has come, we heard the early trumpet from John the Baptist, announcing the King is here, one greater than I, who was before me. Who came to work, to open the hearts and minds of men. Making passes from city to city, spreading the Word of YHWH. That's the world now in its 6 days working and waiting for the return of the King. Waiting for the long blast, the announcement of His return for the walls of evil to fall. On the 7th day, He creates the Sabbath, YHWH rests. This is the promise, that there will be work for 6 days, those who choose Christ, who follow Him and His nature, in Word and deed, will rest on the 7th day, the Sabbath, we rest with the Lord in Christ Yahushua, the Ark, the Word, the Law, the Truth, the Light, Alpha and Omega.
That is the end of Jericho, sin and death, total destruction of evil men, their walls, and lies, who then are cursed, damned to a place without the presence of YHWH. (curse revealed, king ahabs son abiram) Then the people of YHWH, Israelites are given all the treasures, stolen and kept from them through slavery and deceit. Walking into the Promised land with Christ. We receive the inheritance through our Faith in Christ, He frees men, we need Christ.
This story is also reflected in the two blind men Christ heals on the way into the city, Bartimaeus, son of Timaeus, means to honor, valued, highly prized. This man cried out, Son of David, have mercy on me! He was told to shut up, be quiet, these are the walls of the world. He cried louder seeking the Rabbi. Christ hears him...”your Faith has made thee whole.” He then follows Christ, the Ark, he is now in the Ark. Now, on the other side, coming out of Jericho he sees Zacchaeus, a vermin, tax collector, a sinner, hated by his own people, and Christ chooses him to be a guest in his house. In his Spirit. Zacchaeus, repents and now has Salvation. He comes for The sons of Abraham, many nations, to seek and save what is lost.
Luke 20:1–8 KJV 1900
1 And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders, 2 And spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority? 3 And he answered and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing; and answer me: 4 The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? 5 And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then believed ye him not? 6 But and if we say, Of men; all the people will stone us: for they be persuaded that John was a prophet. 7 And they answered, that they could not tell whence it was. 8 And Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.
Here are the finger pointers, naysayers, the elder brothers who blame, point, and mock him because they’re exposed by their own actions.
Luke 20:9–19 KJV 1900
9 Then began he to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen, and went into a far country for a long time. 10 And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat him, and sent him away empty. 11 And again he sent another servant: and they beat him also, and entreated him shamefully, and sent him away empty. 12 And again he sent a third: and they wounded him also, and cast him out. 13 Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him. 14 But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours. 15 So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them? 16 He shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid. 17 And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner? 18 Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. 19 And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.
This is the story of Creation in a nutshell. The world is the vineyard. We have all been hired to work, to produce fruits worthy. No matter the day or hour when chosen.
Matthew 20:16 KJV 1900
16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.
Our payment is Grace, Salvation in Christ.
Christ is the stone the builders rejected, promised in David’s Psalm.
Psalm 118:22–23 KJV 1900
22 The stone which the builders refused Is become the head stone of the corner. 23 This is the Lord’s doing; It is marvellous in our eyes.
Luke 20:20–26 KJV 1900
20 And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor. 21 And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the person of any, but teachest the way of God truly: 22 Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no? 23 But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why tempt ye me? 24 Shew me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered and said, Caesar’s. 25 And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar’s, and unto God the things which be God’s. 26 And they could not take hold of his words before the people: and they marvelled at his answer, and held their peace.
This is great, this is not about paying taxes, its about what world you chose, YHWH’s in Christ or the world of the flesh. Should you chose to live in the Spirit your taxes will be minimal to caesar, you depend solely on Christ and in the blessing of YHWH. If you chose a material world, you get caesar’s rule.
Luke 20:27–40 KJV 1900
27 Then came to him certain of the Sadducees, which deny that there is any resurrection; and they asked him, 28 Saying, Master, Moses wrote unto us, If any man’s brother die, having a wife, and he die without children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother. 29 There were therefore seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and died without children. 30 And the second took her to wife, and he died childless. 31 And the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: and they left no children, and died. 32 Last of all the woman died also. 33 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? for seven had her to wife. 34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: 35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: 36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. 37 Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. 38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him. 39 Then certain of the scribes answering said, Master, thou hast well said. 40 And after that they durst not ask him any question at all.
Here they are again, the tricksters, the finger pointers, nag, nag, nag. They seek enjoyment in there prideful thoughts of themselves. Partners with the devil the deceiver himself, they question YHWH.
John 8:44 KJV 1900
44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
These men are sinners, far from repenting, and worse they’re the teachers of YHWH for the people, but they’re blind. They don’t even know the characteristics of the Father. They have created their own rules, commandments of men ....(talmud=moral law)
Matthew 15:9 KJV 1900
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
They can’t hear, as Jeremiah says; (appointed by YHWH, YHWH will exalt)
Jeremiah 7:27 KJV 1900
27 Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee.
nor can they see...as Christ says;
Matthew 15:14 KJV 1900
14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
Now He’s about to slap them silly with a prophetic question they cannot answer because they do not Know Him!
Luke 20:41–44 KJV 1900
41 And he said unto them, How say they that Christ is David’s son? 42 And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, 43 Till I make thine enemies thy footstool. 44 David therefore calleth him Lord, how is he then his son?
They do not know or believe He is from the line of David, the root or stump of Jesse. They expect a King, ruler, a warrior of flesh to defeat enemies physically for material gain. That dynasty has passed, and that is why it is called the root of Jesse, a stump that has been cut down. Christ comes to restore YHWH’s people, and no man on earth will ever do it materially. Because, it is a Spiritual battle against evil;
Ephesians 6:12 KJV 1900
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
With all hearing Him, He looks to His disciples and says;
Luke 20:45–47 KJV 1900
45 Then in the audience of all the people he said unto his disciples, 46 Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts; 47 Which devour widows’ houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.
They don't know Him, so he then warns the people out loud to beware of their trickery;
Romans 1:22–23 KJV 1900
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
Making YHWH like them, everchanging, angry, hateful, non forgiving, beastly, and without Love, mercy or Grace.
They will receive greater damnation for leading men from YHWH in Christ, whom YHWH sent to save the world. His only begotten son. Although planned from the beginning, knowing men and angels would fall, YHWH’s Word is True, it is The Truth as Christ represents, the Truth, the Way and the Resurrection, Life eternal in Him with YHWH.
Isaiah 55:11 KJV 1900
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: It shall not return unto me void, But it shall accomplish that which I please, And it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
His Word is Christ!
John 14:6 KJV 1900
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 11:25 KJV 1900
25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
This is the STONE THE BUILDERS REJECTED! THE FOUNDATION OF OUR FAITH! IN HIM WE ARE COVERED BY HIS SELF SACRIFICE, THE DEBT IS PAID, AND AS HE STATED HIMSELF;
John 19:30 KJV 1900
30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
The original Greek word used here is tetelestai, which means "it is finished," "it is paid in full," or "it is accomplished". SO BE IT!
Psalm 118:23–24 KJV 1900
23 This is the Lord’s doing; It is marvellous in our eyes. 24 This is the day which the Lord hath made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 KJV 1900
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
All 7 days, are His, the celebration will be announced by trumpets, the coming of the King, and with a shout from Heaven, we will rest in Him Christ, eternally in and with the Lord God almighty YHWH.
