7 Visions 07 - 4B The Coming Judgment

All right, there we go. I think so in Kind of getting underway. We're going to look at seven Visions today. We're looking at the fourth Vision, but the Bravo version, we looked at for a couple of weeks ago. That was a train ride. I took us slower. Wooden roller coaster ride this time to go through. So it shouldn't be quite as adventurous, but none, the less in this we're going to look at chapter 16 through 18 which is the next Bridge. So you have 6 or 11 and then 16 through 18, they kind of connect together. There's a couple of cautions I want to share with you as I dig in here and kind of get under way and share different things. But one thing I want to point out that is God, remember the Bible is the story of redemption in Revelation is that! At the end and in Revelation, you have to do to help. Walk a lot of the Book of Revelation, you have to look at the Old Testament and I've shared with you repeatedly that good hermeneutic good Bible study, is always scripture, verify scripture and so you don't want to take something out of context, you want to make sure that it's verified with in scripture. God has given us a plan and that's been my message to you repeatedly. God has a plan. Nothing has caught off guard. Nothing is a surprise to him. He knows everything has known. Everything will continue to know everything, but he's got a Plan of Redemption and it's already set in place, and it's just we're moving along on that timeline. So, since you already read Revelation 1 through 18 coming into today. Let's see if we can't. Look at Couple things Revelation chapter 16 first couple of verses not want you to think on these couple of verses then I heard a loud voice from the temple. Say the seven angels go and pour out, the seven bowls of God's Wrath on the earth. The first went and poured hit out his bowl on the earth and severely painful sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and who worshipped His Image. Now, that's jump back to. Well the Old Testament, let's go to Isaiah Chapter 13, Verse 6, through 22. And as I read through this think through what you remember from Revelation chapter 1 through 18 and everything else. Think through that allow that imagery to come up as we look throughout the year, 13, wait for the day of the Lord is near. It will come as destruction from the Almighty. Therefore everyone hands will become weak and every man will lose heart. They will be horrified pain and Agony will see them. They will be an English like a woman in labor sound familiar. Their face is flushed with beer. Look the day of the Lord is coming cruel With Yuri and Burning Anger, like a train ride to make the earth a desolation and to destroy its centres indeed. The Stars the sky and it's constellations will not give their like the sun will be dark when it rises and the moon will not shine. I will punish the world Spirits evil and wicked people for their iniquities. I will put it into the pride of the arrogance and humiliate the insolence of tyrants. I will make a human more scarce than Feingold and Mankind more rare than the gold of ophir. Therefore, I will make the heavens tremble, and the Earth will shake from its Foundations at the Wrath of the Lord of armies on the day of his Burning Anger, like wandering gazelles and, like, sheep without a Shepherd, each one will turn to his own people. Each one will flee to his own land. Whoever is found will be stabbed, and whoever is caught will die by the sword. Their children will be dashed to Pieces before their very eyes. Their houses will be looted and their wives rate look. I am stirring up the me's against them who cannot be bought off with silver and who have no desire for gold there. Lowe's will cut young men to Pieces. They will have no compassion on Offspring. They will not look with pity on children and Babylon. The Jewel of the Kingdom's, the glory of the product of the Chaldeans will be like Sodom and Gomorrah when God overthrew them, it will never be inhabited or live from generation to generation a nomad, will not Pitch his tent there and Shepherd will not let their flocks rest there but desert creatures will be down there and Al's will fill the house has ostriches will dwell there and wild goats will leave about hyenas and jackals in the luxurious palaces Babylons. Time is almost up her days are almost over. Do you think God was sending a message? And when you think of Revelation and you think through the Judgment that we've been looking at, in 1 through 18, our particular 6 to 8, I can see that imagery that Isaiah is writing about long before John ever wrote on Pat was right? And so, and then you're seeing as we look through this part of Revelation, it is literally history future because it is yet to come. But yet, God is already told us what the story is going to be like in 16, 5 and 6, I heard her say you are just the Holy One who is and who was because you have passed judgment on these things because they poured out the blood of the Saints and the prophets, you have given blood to drink and they deserve it. Let's go to song. Psalm 75 84, there is a cup in the Lord's hand full of wine blended with spices. And he pours from it, all the wicked of the earth will drink draining it to the drags the spices, sometimes there's sweets spices, and sometimes there's sour spice. So I don't think of something nice fights here. I think this is that, you know, basically, you're going to drink from the cup that you've been filling up all of this time and time of judgment is here with us. So let's look at a few things. And I'm going to share with you a whole bunch of things. I know you find that shocking. So let's just get in here and see you see what I got going on. So in Revelation chapter 6 through 15 just kind of looking back, everything is setting up for the foundation for final judgment. So this is the final story of what's going on. It is like the 4th or leading section of the Apocalypse of the tribulation. Cuz remember what chapters? 1, 2 3 4 and 5 are all before the tribulation begin to before the Rapture of the church. So the tribulation. Is at 7 years, that's a sign that Israel in God's prophetic calendar. So, Israel is memorize a share with you, the book ends of where we are. And so it begins with the signing of an agreement, if you will with the world dictator, the Antichrist, he is a lie. So God hand is removing a get more which allows then then across to inflict his Fury more. So, so it is not that God is causing this. It is. God is removing his protective hand from the evilness. All the Antichrist that is going that is happening. It is with Christ return to Earth to judge and establish his kingdom. So when you look at chapter 6 through 7 You're looking at the seal judgment and the Seven Seals are generating and a large file sinfulness of man, including War, the famine and death that are associated with a war in the first kyushin in chapter 7, do you take a breath? Because chapter 6, it is Seal, Seal, Seal Seal and then in 7 is kind of like, okay, we're going to catch our breath right here in chapter 7. When you look at chapters eight and nine, you're dealing with the trumpet judgments. And you have the seventh seal that contains the seventh, trumpet. The seventh seal contains the seventh trumpet, meaning the trumpets emerge from and expand from that final seal that you will have and it's not necessarily a chronological or sequential pattern. It's more parallel in nature, share that with you chapter 10 through 14. So when I broke apart to share here, 6 to 11 and then 12 through 15 as a parenthetical and then sixteen and eighteen. But the also the way that you can unfold, this is Chapters ten through fourteen is that interlude and so we find out who gots two witnesses are at are at least that there's two witnesses and we talked about that the last couple of weeks Satan is removed from heaven. So officially he is a band and disbarred from Heaven. At this point, somebody asked me last week I can, it is Satan able to get to heaven now. And the answer is yes until Jesus returned from the dead, when Jesus returned from the dead. I said I'm on the throne now and Satan is no longer able to access because Jesus and and his angels are standing guard over the heavens at that point. And so, from right now, though, He has it been totally judged and disbarred from Heaven. The judgment is still yet to come. So if you will, he's been arrested. He's been placed in jail, but he hasn't been placed in prison yet. And final judgment has not yet occurred. We talked about the rise of the Antichrist in the false prophet last week, and how they come from the sea and how they come from the earth. And then we talked about the final Harvest of judgment. So when the final Harvest of, bringing it all the saints, and all of those people that have said, I am a child of the king. I profess Christ. When that happens, that is that Harvest. So, Revelation 14 serves as a connecting link and kind of works in that mid tribulation time frame. And so the events of the second half of the tribulation are in Revelation, 15 and 16. So they're tribulations how many years time span Revelation 14th or seven proclamations given from the Divine side and predicting the failure of the counterfeit Trinity's program counterfeit Trinity. Who is that? Antichrist Beast, false prophet, and the Beast, the Beast of the sea, which is the Antichrist, the Beast of the earth, which is the false prophet. And then the red dragon, which is dated and they formed that false Trinity that mocks mimics, the a trinity to Holy Trinity of God, the Father God, the son and God, the holy spirit. So announce the results of the approaching Bowl, judgments goes on here, these are coming and he gives words of insurance and comfort to the same that are living here because they're still going to be people. And what is the whole purpose of all of this Shake Rattle and Roll that? The seals a trumpet, the bowls in all of these things are going on. What message is God sending to the people of the Earth?

He saying repent. Now this is real, here is the Bible, it is been sustained through thousands and thousands of years. You can read here and you can actually know what's coming next. I want you to repent because it is if you will confess your sin and confess that Jesus is Lord, you will be saved. That's Romans 10 9 and 10. It is right there. Correct. And so the whole thing is, if you will make it professional face. If you will say, I love Jesus. Jesus is my Lord and Savior. If you will have your name written in the Lamb's Book of Life, then you will be safe. However, there are people that will not be bugged and they are convinced that God is not real. Now, they still Beyond me to live through this and all the things that are ongoing and not realize that there is a God. He is real, and judgment is coming chapters 11 through 14, they fit into the second of the tribulation and we Talk about God's two witnesses, who will testify for 1260 days? Satan's removal from heaven and subsequent persecution of Israel for the same. And read that again. Satan's removal from heaven, we talked about that. And the subsequent persecution of Israel for the same. Israel is also going to be persecuted. They won't be destroyed, but they will be persecuted in that time frame. The Raza Nanna, cross and false prophet who dominate for 42 months and the final judgment in Armageddon. So, all of this is coming about protection from Annihilation does not mean freedom from Attack. So, Israel, moved to the Wilderness. Right? Well, what came at them? What did Satan send after them talked about it last week?

Waters, remember Waters and what happened? The Earth swallow the water. So it does mean that protection from Annihilation does not mean freedom from Attack. Satan will be able to attack the children of God, but he will not be able to annihilate them. When Satan is from the earth, he persecutes the woman, which is Israel and who gave birth to the male child, which is Jesus from his mouth. We talked about that, the Earth has swallowed up that Tower water. And so the assault of Satan on the Israel is real, but he gets old family forwarded because he cannot defeat all the children of Israel. The key lies in understanding that Satan's persecution continues, but his capacity to destroy is limited who limit Satan's ability. God. The Father God is in control all the time. God is in control all the time, not only in Revelation but here today, he is in control of all things. That's why he will. Not let that evil come against you, that you cannot persevere through. He will carry you through, no matter what, comes your way, he will carry you through because his hand is upon you and he is limiting, the amount of attacks that Satan can have against you, Satan turns his Fury, toward the rest of her Offspring, those who keep the commands of God and hold firmly to the testimony about Jesus. So, Satan, he's really upset. He is turning everything. He's got against the children of God and those Jews and non-jews are Gentiles. He is persecuting there through everything he can. Israel still experience is hardship. During the tribulation, yet they continue to survive, because if you remember, there's 144,000, the Twelve Tribes are 12,000. Their job is what your Ventra to evangelize to share. The good news, that is their job to preach. The good news. That is their job, chapter 15 and 16 or the climax here. That we've been working through the nature of the bowl. Judgments and the analogous relationship between the seventh seal and the Seven trumpets in. The seven bowls would be continued are contained in the seventh trumpet. Now this is an important paragraph because it is all contained within we often think literally or consecutively. And that's not necessarily the the best Viewpoint. I'm going to roll that out for you so we can look into where we are now. The bowl, judgment is the consummation of God's Wrath. This is Peyton, I mean, this is he's bringing things to an end. So the worship that we talked about in 45, remember Heaven's, Throne Room, the 24 elders and they bought out, who is who, who is the comp, and they pray. Holy holy, holy Lord, God Almighty. Remember, we talked through that? It's preparation for the rat that's described in Revelations. 6219 worship, judgment go together because God's holiness and humanity, sinfulness and the total picture of what God wants to accomplish against the forces of evil. If you see God doing these things and having the authority, and the ability to string the power, the wisdom, would you not be inclined to Fall on Your Knees to fall on your face and worship the one true Living? God? Yes. Or no? Yes. And so this is God's story of redemption. Hear God is long suffering. God is longsuffering, but eventually he must judge sin and vindicate, his servant, just like with us today. God is patient with us. So, if you confess your sin and you fall off, and can you use if you fall off of where you need to be in and come back? God is longsuffering. He wants you to be like him. He wants us all to be like him and live in a wholly manner, but he loves us so much, that when we confess our sin, he will continue to forgive us Seventy Times Seven of our sins, right? He continues to love us so much as we roll through each and every day. This also represents final expression of God's judgment in chapter 16. You see the seven Bowl judgment and it's the most severe comprehensive expressions of divine wrath. When you look at the Bowles, they're nothing compared to the seals and the trumpet. The bowls are this is where we are and it's because we refused How to submit refuse to repent and we are highly rebellious to God Almighty. So, it systematically destroy. The infrastructure is coming to set up what his own world, his own kingdom. And he's saying, I'm going to rule in and what really happened is it proves that evil cannot set up their Kingdom and it function evil cannot set up their Kingdom and it functions like it needs to be and if you think about even our world, you think about our current world events and you think about the evil that is out and the deception and the lies and and all of the political turmoil that is in and about and around us, when you think of those things, that tells me right here, evil cannot Prevail. And it has to be based on a Godly nation in order to survive. But Play, there's an earthquake in a final Devastation. I can't imagine how powerful that earthquake would be. I mean, we talked about 7.0 even 9.0 earthquake. Saint on our Richter Scale, this is got to be like, in the 14 to 18 round. You know, it's, it's going to be a whole lot of shaking sense into his babylon's fall. An interesting that Babylon is mentioned, a repeatedly in the Old Testament, but Babylon tear remember Babylon is not just a physical location, but it represents that political system that geopolitical system that is used at religious geopolitical system that is used with all their harlot. A corrupt spiritual political system that persecuted God's people. And, you know, even today, do God's people feel persecuted by our own government. Yes. And, and yes, we are. And so, we haven't seen anything yet. The worst is yet to come. If you will the worst and the best does Bittersweet if you will. So I went Babylon, father, they had their religious influence to seduce him Humanity away from authentic, faith in all saw something, and I'm going to mess up the illustration. I'm sure. But when somebody mentions, you know, any of these other people from these other face, any of the other deities are prophets or whatever these other places, people don't get near as upset as they do when we mention Jehovah, when we mention Jesus, when we mention the Lord of lords in the King of Kings, they get sideways. But you mentioned anyone else and they don't. Why is that beat? Jesus is the only one who's alive today. He's the only one that's been seen by over 500 people after he was killed and buried. He's the only one that curses that conscious of even the strongest atheist and they know deep down that Jesus is real and they don't want to face their sin and face their face for they are chapter 18 deals with babylon's fall describes Babylon, complete destruction, destruction sudden total and irreversible as Merchants Kings and seafarers mourn, the loss of their economic and political power. It's like the stock market crash of the 1930s. A wonderful thing in this era because everything is wiped out. If you had $1000000, you're now lucky to have one sent his. What this is saying and it's totally irreversible, you're not recovering back from this and that is Where this is coming back. God is going to take Babylon down the crowded. Trump The Cry of Triumph. Bring down Babylon is Fallen at the end of 18th. Please describe the cosmic conflict between God and Satan and Satan is fighting with everything. He had against God's the New Jerusalem in Babylon fighting against each other and we know who's going to win. Is Rhonda said, we know what the in stories like we know what the end result is. We're at the end of the book, we know who win and it's not these photos. So I'm 16, I want to scroll through about 40 slides here real quick, and I don't expect that you're going to be able to take everything in, but I want you to take a higher view. In other words, think through of how God has already told us the story. This is what I want you to have. God is already told us a story, he's got a plan. He's already given us the m. And now he's showing John telling John to write these things so we can have record of it and he's given us the beginning. And the end, this is what it's going to look like. In the seven Bowls, the verses of the Old Testament scripture passages and they deal with the plagues and the blades were on the Egyptians, write the day of the Lord and final judgment. So that all of those, those three scripture passages work through that but let's break it down a little bit more phone. Number one deals with painful sores and you see that from Exodus 9 and the Egyptians send and that's the boils that are mention there and all of you recall that both two and three turn water into blood. And again, I had 19 also prophesied about this and yet to come for Forza scorching sun and We complain now about it being so hot outside now and even hot. Got my air conditioner at the house. Can not keep up. It is not doing a great job at keeping the house. Cool. Right. And yet the scorching Sun that this was talking about, you talk about Cosmic eat, this is Cosmic eats to work. When you walk outside, you almost vaporized is where this is coming from bowl. 50 Darkness on the Beast and in that deals, with the darkness plague. Remember, we talked about that in the ten plagues of the Egyptians, and it's also in the day of the Lord is Amos prophesied, both six, Euphrates, dried up the mighty Euphrates, River, dried up. And it's a part of that Divine, judgment against Babylon itself. Remember the merchants to see all of that, get the merchants and and it's destroyed Beyond repair or recovery and that is everything is dried up. And the Euphrates here is setting Babylon up for that judgment Armageddon Gathering where they're gathering for this phone. War and nations are gathering for final war in their positioning themselves, to fight this massive earthquake and collapse. And you can read in haggai and Ezekiel and we talked earlier just about that earthquake, that's going to happen. And again, God wants to shake sense into people. And say if you repent, you can come stay with me and heaven and you can live forever. You can have that happy and joyous life that I have promised everyone, but you have to repent and not be rebellious and Nations will still be rebellious in that day. Looking at Revelation 17. Babylon is a prostitute in so in that round Babylon is not real. They are leading people away from God. Instead of to God, they are that seductive by Dollar Tree sampire and as you recall back to Babylon, the Chaldeans and they made the children of Israel worship the false Idols of that day. So you get into here and you're seeing the same thing happen. Again, Babylon is that idolatrous Empire that is pulling people away from God, Almighty the cup of Abominations Nations, drunk on babylon's corruption, people get to where they're enjoying that power. That political power, that political money that cost money, all of those things are all coming in right here and they get drunk on it. They get to enjoy it so much and their living lavishly and, and all the things that go with that, but there's judgment. That is coming. There's an adult adulterous City, imagery that's coming out of his EQ. 06. Scene in 23 and spiritual infidelity, like worshipping the golden calf. So if you think about the golden calf. No, that's not referenced here but you know, when the nation started worshiping, I don't hear well. That's what's happening with Babylon is well, and the false prophet that does the Beast of the Earth, the false prophet coming up and saying, you worship me the false prophets, and, and leading people away from God. And so that's at spiritual infidelity because what is the first commandment love the Lord And him only, that's exactly right. And you see that, here's the big. Are we all did for sure? It's best in the base with seven heads from Daniel. And course Daniel 7. And and and several passages and Daniel or are very relative but it is breaking the heads of the sea monsters clinical power to Kingdom who's going to break those heads. God Almighty, who is going to win? God is Kings. Are aligned with the beast from Psalm 2 and 1/8 rulers that are opposing. God, and when, and even now is I look in the political spectrum and the political voting and these that we, as Americans are voting into office, they are our rulers that and rulers are politicians. They are opposing. God, they are against God, they don't want God in schools, they don't want God reference, they don't want God, they don't want to He told about God's they want God out of Council meetings, in and chamber meetings and they want got out. Why? Because that is moving in to the false religion, The Falls guidance, that is coming drunk with the blood of Saint is Babylon, has caused the slain of Israel to fall. So it Babylon the swing of all the Earth shall fall. And so basically, God is saying you caused the blood of the Saints to be spilled. I am now causing your blood to be spilled and judgment there in. Another passage here is dealing with the purple, attire of Revelation, 17 verse four, and you can see that reference in exit is 28th and Jeremiah for the Harlot. Where's purple and Scarlet? Ironically mimicking the vestments of the high priests from Exodus 28. She is a false. Prophetess are false priest is rather, excuse me. Jeremiah 4:30 describe the woman who do she Close herself and Scarlett and ornaments herself with gold is still despise by her Lover's. This is a very precise match for the imagery of the Harlot in Revelation, 17 for. And so again, this is all been foretold from the Old Testament coming into Revelation. 18, can you tell that no testimony is crucial to understanding New Testament and the Book of Revelation is it at your house already. Given us a lot of these pictures of Babylon is fallen and we saw that prediction from Isaiah chapter 21. It's been destroyed and judgment on the Proud Empire. Babylon. Stand as that proud and mighty Empire. It makes it there by Save-A-Lot need to get on the boat to Babylon. And and in reality that's not where they need to be your you anybody needs to be the millstone. Imagery Babylon is sung forever. There's a millstone hung around babylon's neck and they are song forever as reference Merchants morning, member, we just talked about that Bible. I was totally destroyed. All the merchants are wiped out and complete economic collapse. There's no more music like or trade all that's been done and there's silence after judgement, there's a call to come out of her separation from corruption. So separate yourself from corruption, even today. We have to separate ourselves from that corruption. We are called to honor. God not to be in that corruption play Babylon, pride and self-sufficiency is in Isaiah, 47 and babylon's. Arrogance is reference or seen here and they're trying to be self-sufficient, unexpected destruction, from Isaiah, 47. Devastation will happen to you suddenly and unexpectedly cost when God comes back. When the Angels make on the trumpet sound, when the seals are broken, all man, that's going to be a glorious day. I'm glad that we're all out of here. Desolation abandonment became A desolate ruin dry as a desert, can you can read go back and read from Zephaniah 2:3 Joy. Sing over a fallen City. So everyone rejoices over a babylon's fall and that's from Deuteronomy 32, here's a sentence to read with me. Some writers have tried to make Revelation, a continuous chronological account from beginning to end, but this view is not widely held today. So, you've been around Church world for most of your life in. If I'm sure all of you have to be cautious because we have often held that it is like a sequin, you would have the seals and then the trumpet and then the bowls. But that's not really the view. That is that we have the dominant view, is that the various series of judgment parallel one, another rather than following successively since each series seems to conclude with the End of the Age. So you how The Seven Seals of seven trumpets in the seven bowls, they all come to ending in Revelation, chapter 18, and 19. They all come to end at that same time if you want to to look at it chapter 6 and 7 or the seal judgments that kind of occur in the first half of the tribulation is what you may see. And again like I just shared that's not totally. The View that we want. Hugs just a way to kind of say, seal judgments are in six and seven, the trumpet judgments come in at 8 and 9 and 10:30 14th, is that parenthetical interlude? And basically happens in the midpoint if you will of the tribulation 16 is the bowl, judgment and then 17 and 18 detail them to some babylon's fall because God destroy all the kingdom that Satan is setting up. All the kingdom that the false prophet Dan across is, setting up all that evilness of setting up is Babylon. It is all destroyed. The chapter 19 tells us about The second coming, the chapters are arranged like a telephone conversation. The story starts, an order in chapter 6, but it's interrupted to fill in information in chapter 7, then resumes in chapters eight, and nine, then more filling occurs in chapters, ten through fifteen and then it returns to a progressive order in chapter 16 and finally more detail in chapter 17 through 19. So there's two interlude. That are written. So is your reading through chapter 6, through 19, there's 2 interlude periods in there as everything continues to unload. Our our own unravel progressively chapter 19 and 20 papers and I climatic confrontation between Christ and evil followed by Satan's binding and the final judgment that's what's coming. Next week is the No judgment and that leads us into next week, huh? The horses are in the Seven Seals from Revelation chapter 6. Verses are identified. All right, so next week we will talk about Vision six. Lord of all becoming King in Revelation, chapters, 19, and 20. This is becoming King. This is a really good stuff right here. You're providing. Our needs and you are shielding us from the attacks of the evil one, an order. I pray that you would continue to do just that Lord, I pray. That is we go, our separate ways, you would protect us, watch over us give us traveling mercies, watch for the prayer requests that we had mentioned today that you would answer them according to your will, according to your honor, and a 10 and that it would always glorify you or to pray for pastor Thomas. He brings a message today that he would be a vessel of Honor for you and and speak your word to your people today. And Lord, I pray that those that are here today would be encouraged and Lord, most of all, I pray for those who do not have a relationship with you spend today would be the day that they would come to see you face to face and have their name written in your Lamb's Book of Life. We love you and we thank you for all these things in your most holy and precious name we pray. Amen.
