Mind - The word mind functions as both a noun and a verb, referring to the human faculty of consciousness, thought, and feeling, or the act of paying attention, caring, or looking after something.
In the Bible, the mind is not just a brain or a place for dry facts. It is the inner center of your thoughts, choices, desires, and moral character. Scripture treats the mind as the core part of your spiritual life that decides whether to follow God or turn away
Matthew 7:24 “24 “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.”
Matthew 7:25 “25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.”
Matthew 7:26 “26 And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.”
Matthew 7:27 “27 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.””

Devil wants you to focus on fear, God wants you to focus on faith.

2 Corinthians 10:5 “5 We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,”

2 Corinthians 5:6 “6 So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord,”

2 Corinthians 5:7 “7 for we walk by faith, not by sight.”

Matthew 10:31 “31 Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.”

Isaiah 41:10 “10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

James 1:6 “6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.”

James 1:7 “7 For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;”

James 1:8 “8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”

I’m battling that attack right now but I’m not giving into to it. It will not win.

What you put in it and in front of it effects it.

Psalm 1:1 “1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers;”

Psalm 1:2 “2 but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.”

Psalm 1:3 “3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.”

Psalm 1:4 “4 The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away.”

Psalm 1:5 “5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;”

Psalm 1:6 “6 for the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.”

Psalm 119:9 “9 How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word.”

Psalm 119:10 “10 With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments!”

Psalm 119:11 “11 I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.”

Philippians 2:5 “5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,”

Consistency is the key to long term change

Luke 9:23 “23 And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.”

Luke 9:24 “24 For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it.”

Romans 12:2 “2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

I talked to my dad, because of the relationship, not for a relationship
We must be competitive and it starts in our mind.
The battle, How we fight?

Ephesians 6:10 “10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.”

Ephesians 6:11 “11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.”

Ephesians 6:12 “12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”
