CHRIST RETURN

OPENING:
So have you ever lived through a great change in an area either at your job or in some type of organization your involved with. When change comes many are reluctant to accept the change unless they are certain that the change will make things better for everyone involved. Change is tough. We have faced change and adversity here at Coharie CC, before it was Coharie CC. We made a decision to depart the United Methodist Church because of their altered vision of inclusion, homosexuality, LGTBQI, and just a very non biblical view of the scripture, along with the failure to enforce their own rules, as outlined in the Book of Discipline. Yes we know Change is hard!
But there is coming a time when great change will appear and feel almost seamless to those of us who witness this change. The period of change I speak of is the End Time changes when Jesus return to the Earth for His Bride, the Church.
Daniel 7:9–10 “9 “I watched till thrones were put in place, And the Ancient of Days was seated; His garment was white as snow, And the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, Its wheels a burning fire; 10 A fiery stream issued And came forth from before Him. A thousand thousands ministered to Him; Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him. The court was seated, And the books were opened.”
Daniel 7:26–28 “26 ‘But the court shall be seated, And they shall take away his dominion, To consume and destroy it forever. 27 Then the kingdom and dominion, And the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, Shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And all dominions shall serve and obey Him.’ 28 “This is the end of the account. As for me, Daniel, my thoughts greatly troubled me, and my countenance changed; but I kept the matter in my heart.””
I. Point 1 - Final Change
What we see here in verse end of a reign of one dominion and the ushering in of the Final Kingdom an everlasting Kingdom, the Kingdom of the Ancient of Days. The meaning of this term is exciting to me. “Eternal God, who existed before time began.”
(timeless, eternal, perpetual)
2 Peter 3:8 “8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”
Psalm 90:2 “2 Before the mountains were brought forth, Or ever You had formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.”
Revelation 1:8 “8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.””
Hebrews 13:8 “8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”
Isaiah 46:10 “10 Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,’”
God is Omnipresence
