Don't Stop Now!

There is no easy way to deal with hard times. Sometimes you have to keep on. You have to, in the words of Curtis Mayfield “Keep on Keeping on”. Why? Because quitting should not be an option. Giving up is not an option. As believers in Christ Jesus, we always have something more to look forward to. We always have hope. And we always have work to do for those who would come after us.

1. Keep Moving forward

“Moses my servant is dead.

“Every Place the sole of your foot touches”

2. Keep Trusting God

“No man shall be able to stand before you”

“you shall cause this people...”

“As I was with Moses, so I will be with thee.”

That's your shout right there!

God says,

The God who brought you out of Egypt—

The God who kept you in the wilderness—

The God who gave you manna when you didn't know where your next meal was coming from—

The God who gave you water out of a rock—

The God who kept your clothes from wearing out—

And if He's been with you this far...

3. Keep God’s Word

Do accordingly (Law’s)

Driving has laws

Meditate

God is with you Just like he was with Moses.

God never told Joshua that the journey would be easy.

He never said there wouldn't be enemies.

He never said there wouldn't be battles.

He never said there wouldn't be moments when Joshua would get tired.

He never said there wouldn't be moments when Joshua would be afraid.

He simply said:

“I will be with thee.”

And sometimes that's all you need!

I don't need God to tell me there won't be a storm.

Just tell me He's going to be in the boat!

I don't need God to tell me there won't be a battle.

Just tell me He's going to fight with me!

I don't need God to tell me there won't be trouble.

Just tell me He'll never leave me nor forsake me!

I don't need to know everything that's waiting for me tomorrow.

I just need to know that God is already there!

So Joshua—

DON'T STOP NOW!

(Take to the cross)

Because He lives, I can face tomorrow, because he lives all fear is gone, because I know he holds the future, And life is worth living, because He lives.

So church Don’t stop.
