2. The Need to Sustain Ministry Operations

Every ministry — children, youth, worship, outreach, discipleship — requires resources to function well.

Curriculum, supplies, equipment, training, and tools are part of equipping the saints for the work of ministry.

When we give toward need, we strengthen the church’s ability to serve people consistently and effectively.

3. The Need to Respond to Unexpected Situations

Needs don’t always announce themselves — emergencies happen.

Benevolence requests, urgent repairs, families in crisis, community needs… the church must be ready to respond quickly.

Giving toward need creates a margin of mercy, allowing the church to meet real needs the moment they arise.
