Praying for Ourselves

Are we really allowed to pray for ourselves? Isn’t that selfish?
God doesn’t want us to feel like its a bad thing to pray for our personal needs.
God is a Father; He is our Heavenly Father.
It is his delight to hear the prayers of His children and to answer them.
Philippians 4:19 ESV
19 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
We are on solid footing when we come to pray for ourselves and our needs.
Matthew 6:9–13 ESV
9 Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. 10 Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread, 12 and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
