Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you. Only let us hold true to what we have attained.
Brothers, join in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk according to the example you have in us. For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things. But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.
Therefore, my brothers, whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm thus in the Lord, my beloved.
vs 20 with the big concept of citizen of heaven. The word for citizen is politeuma which we probably get our word politics from and citizen is an apt translation of the word
But our citizenship is in heaven,

the ones that are heavenly are those who are in Christ, those who know Him and are striving to be like Him and know Him better

So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,

you owe Him your allegiance and obedience and everything is subservient to Christ
being a citizen of heaven has it’s privileges and duties
being a citizen of heaven means you are not a citizen of this world but rather an ambassador of Christ quoting the first part of 2 Cor 5:20
Paul labels himself an ambassador in chains in Eph 6:20
We are the only view of Christ that the world has

Paul knew the scriptures Job 36:22
Behold, God is exalted in his power;
who is a teacher like him?
Be exalted, O Lord, in your strength!
We will sing and praise your power.
Paul speaks of it 1 Cor 1:18
For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
“Worthy are you, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
and by your will they existed and were created.”
