The Trinity of course is a central foundation of our faith, but at the moment I want to focus on the individual aspects: God, Jesus and the Spirit.
Jesus. Matthew 16:15 “He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?”
He is God.
John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
He is our Savior.
Titus 2:13 “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;”
Jesus is Deity.
John 10:30 “I and my Father are one.”
Jesus has the power to forgive.
Mark 2:10 “But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,)”
Jesus, like God, is omnipotent—all powerful.
Matthew 28:18 “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.”
Jesus, like God is omniscient—all knowing.
John 2:25 “And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.”
Jesus was the creator.
John 1:3 “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”
Jesus was God in all his human form.
Colossians 2:9 “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”
In all Jesus awareness and fullness of who he was, he continually turned to the father.
