refer to the hand of God because this has been my experience over my entire life.
I’ve discovered The Holy Spirit’s presence represents God’s touch.
Sometimes that touch is gentle and other times that touch is heavy.
I want to say, you can either expect one or the other in various degrees.
The Hand of God can very light or very heavy depending upon the function and your need.
In my life The Holy Spirit’s function has been like that of , “This is what the LORD says to me with his strong hand upon me, warning me not to follow the way of this people:”
This was a presence the effected my consciousness and convicted my soul and awakened my spirit.
The end result was changing my mind and adjusting my lifestyle in accordance with God’s will.
Question of assumption: And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.
He did raise… so he does live, it means…
Was it gentle or heavy?
It was gentle.
The Greek word [egeiro] means to wake up.
It is the same word used when Jesus was sleeping in the boat during the storm and the disciples woke him up ().
The two meanings:
11 If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also through his Spirit that dwells in you.
He who raised Jesus from the dead will impart the God-life to you also so you can live as Christ lives.
He who raised Jesus from the dead will also raise your body from the dead in the resurrection of the dead.
HS as comforter is gentle ()
HS as conviction is heavy (; Ez. 3:14)
HS as witness is heavy ()
HS as anointer is both light and heavy (: )
HS as teacher is gentle ()
HS as healer is gentle ()*
