Have you ever doubted God’s promises?

We’ve seen that God loves you too much to leave you beating out wheat in winepress.
God doesn’t see you as you are, He sees you as you should be.
God isn’t limited by your fears, limitations, handicaps, doubts,
When God shows up and reveals Himself (when you see God at work in your life) surrender is the only best option.
Surrender begins with worship. When you get your worship priorities correct, everything else falls into place
Your weakness is God’s strength
the enemy wasn’t Midian, it was Israel’s idolatry.
The 2 Bulls… fattened for the purpose of sacrifice. special offering for Baal. One for the sins of Gideon, the other for the sins of Israel.
Courage, Obedience, and Surrender
What is your calling? 1. Love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. 2. Love your neighbor as yourself. 3. As you go… make disciples, baptizing them, teaching them.
Fleece Games (asking God to guide us in a decision by meeting some condition that we lay down) its the “God jump through my hoops and I’ll decide if you were sincear enough to meet my expectations of you.)
Putting out a fleece is not a biblical method of determining the will of God. playing fleece games with God is a mark of immaturity an lack of faith. twice in verses 36-37 Gideon reminded God of what He had already said. (this generation seeks signs) Fleece Games are also a mark of pride… giving God conditions under which you will serve, follow and obey Him is an attempt to put yourself in wrong seat. (God has to obey me, and do what I tell Him to do before I’ll do what He tells me to do.) So why did God capitulate here and do the 2 days of fleece dance with Gideon? ()
