Introduction:

9 And I say unto you, gMake to yourselves friends of dthe ||mammon dof unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, hthey may receive you into everlasting habitations.
10 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
10 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
10 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
11 If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous ||mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
Introduction:
12 And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own?

13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will lhate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Introduction:
This word faithful comes from the Greek word pistos which means: trusty, faithful of persons who show themselves faithful in the transaction of business, the execution of commands, or the discharge of official duties one who kept his plighted faith, worthy of trust that can be relied on
It is important that we pay attention to all of the details that are contained in this parable and what the Lord is making a comparison of, to, and why?
This particular parable shows the grit and the grind of the unjust servant to get results to get taken care of what needed to get taken care of.

What?

What this servant did not do is make excuses neither did he quit his job or position or throw in the towel of leave his Lord to deal with the situation all by himself but he felt like it was his responsibility and it was.
I believe the Lord commended the unjust servant not just for his wisdom to call up the people he gave credit to to make up for the missing money, but I believe. For his wisdom mixed with grit and grind.
Faithfulness is not just about showing up or being in a place but it is about continuing to perform and be in place and taking responsibility for what is placed in your hands despite the obstacles that may face you.
How many times have you said you were not going to do something because of how someone else made you feel? Or because somebody was not backing you? How many times have you not gave your all because others were slacking and lackadaisical in their approach to a situation or a job.
I want you to understand this one thing...and that is leaders do not fall in to the spirit or the climate of negativity and neither or they led by spirits of pessimism but true leader persevere and keep a positive outlook and keep claiming and taking responsibility to the end when something has been placed in their hands they fight for the success of it despite the obstacles and the challenges they might face.

Why:

Your grit and your grind and your unwillingness to quit is not just shown in major things but the tests you in three ways we find in this particular parable.
Your ability to take responsibility for what is placed in your hand
Your ability to perform and not give up and through in the towel when you are faced with obstacles.
Lastly your ability to be faithful in another man's business or ministry...
These things are important because if you have the heart and the fortitude to work grind and be faithful and help another man build or be successful...it is at that point God knows that if you can do that and be that passionate about another man's ventures you will definitely be worthy of your own because you have respected and cared for that which is another's.
This brings us back to the understanding that you reap what you sow...if you are going to be unfaithful and sabotage another man's or woman's ministry or business then you do not deserve your own. If you feel you are too good to serve or work for another man ministry or business you don't deserve your own.
The service of others and the grit and grind of work teaches us how to walk when we receive our abundance. Show me someone who has never served others or worked hard for what they have, and I'll shows you someone who does not know how to treat others.
Until you feel the responsibility and the conviction of following your leader...until you feel the pressure of making sure what you are assigned to do get's done until you feel the weight and the pressure of being first partaker as a leader...you have not become a leader yet!
My question to you tonight is..How dependable are you on your job? Can your supervisors depend on you to be on time and to wrk with a spirit of excellence? or Are you expected to be late to be smart at the mouth and to half do your job.
Are you someone that your boss or your Pastor can put confidence in?
(KJV 1900)
19 Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble
Is like a broken tooth, and a foot out of joint.
Remember faithfulness is not just shown in what you do but you doing it in a timely manner and with excellence. don’t half do it because you don’t want to do it…quit or do it like it is yours...
When it comes to ministry the word tell us in the book of (KJV 1900)
23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
So I ask you tonight are you really faithful because servants and stewards of the Lord must be found to be faithful.
