Work Where You Are

You do not have to look far.
Families worked by their homes.
Worked by their place of frequent work.
They worked to better their community.

Work With All People

The rich and the poor alike.
Officials, Priests, Levites and lay people all worked.
Labour guilds and families worked to gether.
Men and women, Fathers and daughters.
Nehemiah 3:12 NLT
Shallum son of Hallohesh and his daughters repaired the next section. He was the leader of the other half of the district of Jerusalem.

The Work is Bigger Than You

Do not let detractors stop you from doing what is right.
Nehemiah 3:5 NLT
Next were the people from Tekoa, though their leaders refused to work with the construction supervisors.
Do the work that will in the end benefit them and others the same. Some people can not see past their fear or see bigger vision.
2. Know the work is bigger than you and that is the reason to work. Do not forget the plan, the vision or the goal. Stay focus on rebuilding.
Nehemiah 2:17–18 NLT
But now I said to them, “You know very well what trouble we are in. Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates have been destroyed by fire. Let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem and end this disgrace!” Then I told them about how the gracious hand of God had been on me, and about my conversation with the king. They replied at once, “Yes, let’s rebuild the wall!” So they began the good work.

Jesus shows us the way to move toward our Goal.

Hebrews 12:2 NLT
We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.
Jesus did the same in showing us our salvation.
Jesus worked out our healing in his home town he started in Galilee.
Jesus worked with all people and overcame opposition.
He encouraged others to join him in the good cause few they may be but God is bigger.
He encouraged others to join him in the good cause few they may be but God is bigger.
Matthew 11:28–30 NLT
Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”
