Memorial Day 2017

I) Introduction

The believer’s life is a battlefield

from beginning to end is a constant struggle

He is in an unending fight

He is in an unending war

It is easier to give in to the enemy than to fight

II) A soldiers strength

No soldier enters battle without training!

We are to spend time getting the training from the Lord!

Be strong in God’s:

Power - His unlimited pwer and dominion

Strength - his power to accomplish

Might - the ability to use his power as and how it should be used

III)A soldiers Armor/ Weapons

When the believer is strong WITHIN

Then we put on the Armor of the Lord

Then we put on the Armor of the Lord

we use the weapons of the Lord

we use the weapons of the Lord

The Sword of the Spirit

belt of truth

sandals with readiness for the gospel of peace

shield of faith

helmet of salvation

IV) A soldiers Enemy

Not flesh and blood

against the demons of Satan

against His rulers

against His world power

against spiritual powers from heaven! (Fallen Angels)
