John 14:27 NIV
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

A hurricane is a storm with cyclonic winds that exceed 74 m.p.h. Rain, thunder, and lightning usually accompany the winds. Hurricanes can be very fierce storms with relentless pounding winds that continue hour after hour. But a very fascinating thing about a hurricane is its “eye”—a place of perfect calm in its center. Though the winds blow and rage all around it, there are none in the eye.

So with us in the storms of life. With the Lord as our center, there is calm and peace, even in the darkest of life’s storms.958

Audrey,
Congratulation to you!
A hurricane formed:
Jesus speak in John’s gospel saying that he leaves peace to his disciples. The peace that he left behind was different from the world. The world wants and promise peace differently. The world may promise a lot of things but finally there is no peace.
Jesus said, do not let your heart be trouble and do not be afraid. Jesus promise peace in him. As you wrestle through life, you know that storms will comes and will come against you in full forces.
At the moment when you see terrifying storm, you will find peace because Jesus Christ is in the midst of the storm. As you walk from high school, you will face many storms of life. Do not be afraid but trust in the Lord.
Many times parents are harsh at you because the world is not going to be kind to you. You are trained now because you will face some fierce storm and you will stand firm. Not because you are so smart or you can do that by your own might and reasons but they Christ.
May peace and may this peace alone is found in Christ be with you as your move and work and build your future career and life. Never let Jesus Christ depart from your home and life because he is the peace maker and peace provider. Amen.
