Fill me Up, Until I Overflow
Introduction
To be filled with the Holy Spirit is to be energized, equipped, and entangled by Power of the Holy Spirit. Being filled with the Holy Spirit leads to re-creation, renewal, revival, restoration, reverence, and revelation.
Dictionary of Bible Themes 3251 Holy Spirit, filling with
To be filled with the Holy Spirit is to be energised and controlled by the third person of the Godhead in such a way that under the acknowledged lordship of Jesus Christ the full presence and power of God are experienced. Spirit-filling leads to renewal, obedience, boldness in testimony and an arresting quality in believers’ lives.
Acts 1:
for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”
for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”
Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Acts 2:3-4
For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God. Then Peter answered, “Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?”
And it happened, while Apollos was at Corinth, that Paul, having passed through the upper regions, came to Ephesus. And finding some disciples he said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” So they said to him, “We have not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Spirit.”
Acts 10:
“Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?”
And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied.

What does it means to be filled with the Holy Spirit!
Please don’t confuse exhortation, celebration, liberation, exaltation with impartation.
Please don’t confuse the Gifts of the Spirit with being Filled with the Spirit!
Don’t confused being gifted with the Holy Spirit using you. You can be gifted, but empty!
You can be gifted, and useless
Lucifer was gifted, but he did not want give God Glory!
God will not put his Spirit in you, if you don’t clean up the vessel.

You can do what you want live how you want and think that it is acceptable, because you can do it!
The devil is a liar!
You want to be blessed, but you won’t be obedient.
You want to be blessed, but you won’t be obligated.
You want to be blessed, but you won’t be observant.
Being Filled with the Spirit is a conscious experience of God’s Power!!!
Acts
29 Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, 30 by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.” 31 And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. 19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord,
20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
