START MISSING. 2Pe 1:3-11. Tony van Drimmelen. We are asking the question: What priority do we give to spiritual growth? If Peter thought it was important how much more so, should we? After Pentecost Peter was a different man. Peter changed from an impulsive and insecure person, to the leader of the church and a courageous ambassador for the gospel. With the pouring out of the Holy Spirit comes the reality that we participate in the divine nature (2Pe 1:4) And, We have everything we need for life and godliness (2Pe 1:3). With four young people stepping up to make their public profession of faith we should all know what growth in the Christian community looks like today.
