Jesus calls his disciples to store up treasure in heaven rather than on earth. Our treasure directs our hearts, money competes with God for our allegiance, and anxiety exposes where we see security. Because our heavenly Father knows and provides for our needs, we can seek first his kingdom and righteousness.
