Not Condemned!

John 8:1–11 NKJV
But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. Now early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people came to Him; and He sat down and taught them. Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, they said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?” This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear. So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”

We have all sinned

Romans 3:23 NKJV
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

We all experience condemnation

By the devil (accuser)
Revelation 12:10 NKJV
Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.
By others (the self-righteous)
By our own heart (conscience)
1 John 3:20 NKJV
For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.

Jesus disarms those who condemn

The religious were ready to judge, condemn, and execute the woman.
Jesus wrote their names in the earth. What did He write? The names of those who forsake the Lord.
Jeremiah 2:13 NKJV
“For My people have committed two evils: they have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, And hewn themselves cisterns—broken cisterns that can hold no water.”
Jeremiah 17:13 NKJV
O Lord, the hope of Israel, All who forsake You shall be ashamed. “Those who depart from Me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the Lord, the fountain of living waters.”
John 7:37–39 NKJV
On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
Under conviction, the religious dropped their stones and walked away.
Jesus disarms the accusations of the devil. How? Through His blood atonement on the Cross for their sins.
Revelation 12:11 NKJV
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

Jesus did not come to condemn

John 3:17–21 NKJV
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”
Jesus does not condone sin.
Jesus told the woman: “Go and sin no more”.
Jesus does not condemn sinners.
All are already condemned because of sin.
Jesus died on the Cross to redeem the sinner from sin and condemnation.
Jesus offers salvation to those who come to the light.
Those who remain in the darkness of their sin will perish in their sin.
The woman confessed Jesus as Lord: “No one LORD”

Jesus came to set us free

Free from condemnation.
Free to receive forgiveness.
Free to walk away from sin: “Go and sin no more”.
