Revelation 3:7-8

And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; 8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

2 Sam. 6:14. And David danced before the Lord with all his might.... v. 21. And David said unto Michal, it was before the Lord which chose me before your father and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the Lord, over Israel. Therefore, I will play before the Lord.

Remembering where God took you from and brought you to where you are today is a major step to growing bigger and bigger. Today you are a homeowner; can you remember when you were a scooter in a very humble place under very terrible conditions? Can you remember when one meal a day was a big problem, but today you can give a bag of rice to people? You can't thank God enough if you are not a good thinker. See where you were some years back and see where the Lord has brought you today. Will you complain or thank Him? Glory to God. Deut 8:10

When thou art eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the Lord thy God. V 11-14

The greatest evil that can befall a man who has obtained mercy of God and has entered divinely opened doors is to find himself again outside the open doors and be back to where he was before. Prov. 4:18. You are saved for continuous progress.

There are times opportunity appears so beautiful to be ignored, but it may not be from the Lord but mere distractions from the enemies of progress/success.

Some opportunities come at the wrong time; though they may look good on paper, they are not meant for that moment.

SIGNS THAT GOD IS OPENING A DOOR

1. Opportunity backed by Scripture: God will not bless you by giving you an opportunity to sin or an opportunity that takes you completely from His presence or service to Him. Any source of blessing that promotes works of the flesh in Gal. 5:19-21 is not a divinely open door. Opportunity to steal or aggressively confront someone who has hurt you is not an open door because it contradicts the word of God, and the Holy Spirit cannot lead you to do so.

2. Answered prayer: 1 John 5:14-15. This is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He heareth us.

3. Opportunity you didn't ask for: 1 Sam. 9:15-21. Saul didn't pray to become king. 1 Sam. 16:11-13 David did not pray to become king. ESTHER did not pray to become queen, but God allowed her to become one.

4. The open doors will bless others:

Prov. 11:25: The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed; those who help others are helped

5. It brings peace: Jer. 29:11. For I know the thought that I think towards you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil to give you an expected end.
