-Jesus Baptized, by John the baptist (to fulfill all righteousness)
-Jesus tested/tempted in the wilderness, led by the Spirit there. (did devil show up there? or just in his mind?)
-Jesus begins to preach/teach (repent,the Kingdom of heaven has come near)
-Jesus calls his first disciples, (he says follow me, at once they do)
-Jesus heals the sick and proclaims good news about the Kingdom

Vows (plural noun)a solemn promise.
-Don't make promises to G_d, examples “if you, then I will serve you forever”
-Again, referencing the O.T.
Law of Moses clearly states that a Vow should not be broken and that Oaths should only be taken in G_ds name.
Back then, any other means was not legally binding. (swearing by heaven,earth,Jerusalem, even by your own life)

Ecclesiastes 5:4–5 NIV
When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow. It is better not to make a vow than to make one and not fulfill it.
