Introduction

We tend to focus on church as being only 2 hours a week. Our focus is Sunday morning but we need get people involved.
Congregational READING
Matthew 9:36–38 ESV
When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”
Beyond Sunday
Prayer is great but we need to harvest the crop and the problem is that the workers a few. We need to equip Christians to the work that God has given us. To be involved with gathering the harvest not sitting in a pew for 2 hours each week.
Prayer is great but we need to harvest the crop and the problem is that the workers a few. We need to equip Christians to the work that God has given us. To be involved with gathering the harvest not sitting in a pew for 2 hours each week.
The problem is a lack of workers but God's solution is to equip ALL Christians for the work.
(NIV) says, "So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up." God is telling us that we need people with heart for people, to go out and deliver the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 4:11–12 ESV
And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ,
The problem is US.
We lack focus – we've lost sight of our mission – to bring the lost to Christ! We are contented to warm the pews and not warm the hearts of men and women who truly need the message of love.

We have lost of the gospel message. The Lexham English Bible says in "For I passed on to you as of first importance (Literally “among the first things”) what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, 4 and that he was buried, and that he was raised up on the third day according to the scriptures."

Is our mission to bring people to Christ or to sit in pew with suit and leave the other 6 days alone?

1 Corinthians 15:3–4 ESV
For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures,
Is our mission to bring people to Christ or to sit in pew with suit and leave the other 6 days alone?

Is our mission to praise God and sing songs of worship for two hours of for 168 hours?

The Christian life should be dedicated to bringing people to Christ!
