Philippians 1:21 NIV

For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

Why she wants to live for Christ?

Why she die, she gain?

What kind of gain is this?

How about Paul?

Why Paul suffer so much to gain this promise after death?

Is this beneficial for us today?

Those who don’ believe in God, life on earth is all there is, and so it is natural for them to strive for this world’s values - money, popularity, power, pleasure, and prestige. If you are not ready to die, then you are not ready to live. Make certain of your eternal destiny; then you will be free to serve -devoting your life to what really counts, without dare of death.

1 John 3:2–3 NIV

Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.
