For Jesus, children are much likely to enter Heaven than even their parents. The reason is that they are much more likely to believe in Jesus than us.

And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. This passage is called “the Shema” (from shama, meaning “to hear” in Hebrew).
In fact this passage was widely known in Jesus’ time as devout jews used to read this passage everyday.

Contrary to what one might think, this is not about the Unity of God.
This is in fact about God being Number 1 in our life; God being the center of our life.
Teaching 2: “Love the Lord your God with all your Heart and with all your Soul and with all your Might.” (Dt 6:5)

This second sentence is the explanation of
If God/Jesus occupies the number 1 place in our life, then this shows how much we ought to love God.

Not only do children have an exceptional ability to learn, but they are also very eager to learn from us, their parents.
Who has never heard his child say: “Papa/Mama, tell me a story?”
Of course they want to learn from us.
But is it that they truly need to learn?

They need to learn about God’s ways for us to live. i.e. God’s will for us to live in this life and on this current place and location He has put us.
What can we find in the Bible?
The story of God and his work of salvation

The values of God: What God likes, and what He abbhors (called ‘ABOMINATION’)
You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.
“A woman shall not wear a man’s garment, nor shall a man put on a woman’s cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God.
Remember: The values of the World may be Abominations in the eyes of God. We should not follow or accept them even if the world see them as good, and if they are trendy.
