God opposed by Satan

Revelation 12:1–3 NIV

1 A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. 2 She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. 3 Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads.

From the beginning, Satan opposed God

Revelation 12:4 NIV

4 Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child the moment he was born.

When he could not stop Jesus from being born

He uses Herod to kill all the babies

When that fails,

Tries to prevent Jesus from fulfilling God’s promises

Mat 4 - He tempts Jesus, and tries to lead Him astray

Lk 22:3-4: He enters Judas - direct involvement to kill Jesus

He manages to get Jesus killed

But Jesus dies, rose again. Pays for our sins. And allowed to live in us.

Satan did not see it coming, as he did not understand it

Jesus completes His mission and returns to Heaven

Revelation 12:5 NIV

5 And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne.

The woman remains behind and know the symbol of the Woman becomes the CHURCH

With Satan also remains on earth,

Dan 9 describes 70 weeks

62 weeks and 70 weeks

Daniel learns from Gabriel, that 1 week = 7 years => 1 day = 1 year

7 weeks for Jerusalemm to be rebuilt (7x7=49 years) between 445 to 396BC

62 weeks after that, Christ dies (God shared with Daniel) (62x7 = 434 years) => 38AD

this takes us to week 69 after 445BC

At this point the Church Era starts (God did not share thistime frame)

After the Church Era, week 70 happens,

when a 7 year covenant is signed with Israel, abomunation in the church, some say a rapture

which is 7 years of tribulation

divived in 2 x 3.5 year halfs

the 1st 3.5 years is peace,

the 2nd 3.5 years is extreme

in this 2nd 3,5 years, 42 months or 1260 days

We see that Satan were trying to stop God

Then tried to use Jesus to stop God

When this all fails, Satan turns his attention to the church

Since the disciples started the church, the 2 beast appeared

one from sea - one from earth

Govs will use their power and the False prophets to oppose the church

The false prophets are people using scripture to deceive people

The dilute the power of the Bible - false teachings

This is the Important part

In the 2nd part of the Tribulation - the church survives
