BIG IDEA: Following Jesus will be uncomfortable but totally worth it, because He is worthy of our praise.
- Jesus desired to tell tough truths to as many people as possible.
- Jesus loved others by not withholding the truth from them.
- Jesus teaches disciplers that shielding people from the truth is wrong.
- Following Jesus requires putting Him before your home and the comforts of this world. Vs.19-20
- Following Jesus can be emotionally, physically, and financially costly.
- Following Jesus will likely make your life less comfortable but more restful.
- Following Jesus requires loving Him more than your family. VS.21-22
- Jesus knows the gifts in our lives that also serve as barriers.
- Spiritual realities surpass physical realities.
