Ecclesiastes 3:1 KJV 1900
1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
(KJV 1900)
17 I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.

Introduction:

Throughout my life I have learned that time and seasons are real…When I say times and seasons I’m not just talking from a natural point of view as in Summer, Spring, Winter and Fall. I’m not talking about 5 O’clock 6 O’clock I’m talking about time and seasons in life.
No other book in the bible explains this better than Ecclesiastes the preacher goes through a list of things in . It is from this we should learn wisdom…this wisdom is that nothing last forever not even man on this earth.
The Holy Bible: King James Version. (2009). (Electronic Edition of the 1900 Authorized Version., ). Bellingham, WA: Logos Research Systems, Inc.
The natural seasons come and go and we appreciate those season according to how we feel about them…people that love winter appreciate winter and despise the summer people that love the summer appreciate the summer but despise the winter.
One thing for sure is neither summer nor winter cares about who likes them or who don’t they come and go as they have been commanded to do by the Lord.

What?

There are other things in life on this earth that we only have for a short period of time and that is people…there is probably not one person in this house tonight that have experienced the tragedy the hurt or the emptiness of the loosing someone you love. It does not matter the age they were how long they were here we still feel the void in our life when death takes place.
The same way with the natural seasons death does not give us a choice when God tells it to do it’s job it is then important that we enjoy and celebrate people while we have them so that we don’t have to live with both sorrow and regret when they are gone.
I’ve seen many and have heard many people regret not spending enough time not learning more than they had from loved ones that have gone on to be with the Lord. It is important to remember church that even though times and seasons in the natural return they never return the same…and once a year is gone you can never get that year and those seasons and that time back again.
So, therefore it is of utmost importance that we seize the moments and redeem the time that God gives to us. There is nothing worse and more wasteful than trying to work and plant and labor and the season and time is up.
In Agriculture there are certain seasons for you to plant certain things if you plant out of season you will not get maximum harvest…if you receive any harvest. When this happens you end up wasting seed because you planted out of season.
It is important for you to remember that the Lord works in times and seasons even when he gives you a word it is important that you realize that it is for a time and for a season the bible tells us in the book of Habakuk 2:1-3
So, therefore we have to be patient but yet not to the point of missing your season or getting comfortable where you are.
